yes big difference, 2010 v6 has 210 hp gets bout 24-27 mpg on hwy an bout 14-17 in city. has 4.0L engine an single exhaust.

2011 v6 has 305 hp gets 27-31 mpg hwy 16-19 city. lighter faster better. dual exhaust 3.7L engine all around better car an they cost bout the same. just get 2011 v6 you'll love it better

@darktheelement1987 Depends on how you look at things. Imagine the 2014+ with DI/less weight, and other improvements. The gas improvements/hp are marginal for that financial addon imo. I purchased an 08 V6 so I can still enjoy a Mustang and not spend more money. Not only do I hate payments, I am now saving money towards a future Mustang. Also, from lighter foot driving, 21 mpg avg. city. 28 avg freeway for the 4.0. However 11+ is a great upgrade, but the 05 is not THAT bad as advertised

The 2011+ V6's are insane cars, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords(magazine) and AmericanMuscle(dot)com proved this when their V6 ran a 13.3 1/4 with nothing but tuned CAI, Shorty Headers, a Catted Xpipe, catback exhaust, and 4.10 gears. Which is just as fast as a new SS Camaro and Not far behind a new stock GT.
