  • So...what lies beyond the Big Bang in the end....?

  • also good to know that almost all scientific visionaries have been assosiated with the church, for example Georges Lemaître who created the Big Bang Theory. And just as an aside, I love how the most "educated" men in the world regard their other scientists as "crack pots"

  • Awesome upload! Been looking for these kind of documentaries, thought i had saw them all. Thx!

  • it had foreplay before it banged

  • I love how every scientific advance in human history has been considered heresy by the church.

  • georges lemaitre. google him.

  • Fucking A! Awesome upload tyvm!

  • Fap fap fap fap

  • Great quote at the end

  • Great video

  • This is the best Documentary i have eveR seen!

  • 1:24:00-1:30:32

What a beutiful fait that lies ahead

  • Mind= FUCKING BLOWN!

  • thank you! :)

  • the subtitles are not at the same time and space order

  • The Big Bang Theory is like the bible...

  • not only that but how long did the first life form have to wait before something to eat to evolve .

and at 2:23 did he say fleeing away from US? like when GOD was HERE when he stretched out the heavens?

  • I'm not argueing the Big Bang theory, but that logical inconsistency justs bugs me too much, if anyone can shed some light for me I would appreciate because from my understanding based on the evidence then the universe did not originate from one point and suddenly expand. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong but I have searched everywhere and can't find out how the universe expanded yet does not show the signs of the expansion. If someone can tell me something I missed I would greatly appreciate it.

  • @milkduds1001 According to science the universe AS WE KNOW IT started from a point smaller than an atom. either way something happened and that ended up in an explosion ie big bang. why that explosion occurred, and many other questions are unknown. I suppose an answer would be finding dark energy where more clues could be taken from. either way recently i've heard about the whole dimension theory and wow i got confused :))))))

  • @sinans11 i included the dimension bit because it really is like a theory from a science fiction movie. But i suspect when it is understood, in a few decades and it can bee used, i am sure younger generations will be laughing at us :))))

  • @sinans11 I'm not really quiestioning the theory of the big bang itself. It's just in every direction you turn your telescope the stars and galaxies get younger and younger till there is nothing. If the big bang was real then shouldn't one part of the sky get younger, and the other part get older because we are looking into the future? That is the confusing part, the universe does not appear to be the result of an explosion but an even spread of creation. That is what confuses me.

  • @milkduds1001 You don't understand how it works. Because light takes time to travel, everywhere you look is in the past. (Even when you look at your hand) The further away you look, the farther back in time you gaze.

  • @milkduds1001 The universe is expanding and shows signs of it. The general redshift of the galaxies we can observe means that they are moving away from us. If you want to have an explanation of the observations, "a universe from nothing" by Lawrance Krauss is a good place to start.

  • @tristbjorn I understand about red and blue shift, and I know about light looking into the past. Like I said I am not argueing the big bang, it just doesn't follow how an explosion (Or mass expantion) would work. Thanks anyway for the info.

  • I have a quiestion. If the big bang theory is true then in one direction of the ould see young galaxies growing older (Because light takes time to reach us we see further back in time the further we look) and in the other direction we should see galaxies ageing beyond our own age. Yet in every direction it is the same, Galaxies get younger the further we look back. Plus the cosmic background radiation has a simulare distrabution of tempature across the universe. One side should be hot.

  • awesome love the new slider.

  • I am revisiting this video for the sake of the sake of responding to a comment on one of my earlier comments. So if this bit of info is in this vid my apologies. The hole thought of the "Big Bang" was introduced by a catholic priest, take it for what it's worth.

  • it's all impressive how they figured out that a "big bang" occured and all... but apparently they only know 4%-5% of what the universe is made of (the rest being so-called dark matter and energy). Not to spoil the great triumphs of science...but does anyone else find it alarming how little they know about matter itself? (Caveat: I'm an atheist, so I have no religious agenda).

  • these bunch of old cunts talking just makes it too annoying to watch. BOOOOORIIIIIIIIiiiiIIIINNG!!!

  • At 36:44 i realized im not going to learn anything new and that i had just wasted a half-hour of my life.

  • 13:45 i object to the notion that astrology is all about "predicting the future".

how are people who are supposed to be educated so completely ignorant of the true use of these ancient arts?

  • @VeritasAmantesVocat O wait, its because its the History channel. of course.

  • the wig of Copernicus is reaaaaally lame. otherwise lovely post , thanks a lot !

  • The fact that the commentator sounds like Optimus prime, made this Documentary so much cooler. :)

  • stupid theory.....

  • Sience will never deal or know what was "before" the bigban. When time and space were created. So this question remain theory. Here come religion. Only the kabalha theory has explanation for that point. Without problem with sience. How. Next time.

  • This just proves, why do what we do, 100000 years time more but not for ever. The sun will not be where it is forever, the milky way will is not everlasting.

    Humanity is not forever.

  • I fail to understand why christians think that the so-called "death of god's son jesus" is so noble and uplifting. Even if it were true, he can't die, can he? So where is the big sacrifice here? What's so noble about it? And why should somebody die for somebody else's sins anyway? How is that fair? I've always thought this was bullshit.

  • CUTTINGTHROUGHTHEMATRIXoCOM

  • Professing themselves to be wise they became fools.

    ~Holy Scriptures~

  • Do you REALLY expect Mr to believe that all that was and is and will ever be mixed in with how all things on all levels work came from something smaller than an atom?

Who created the atom or the gases..where did that come from?

  • @MsAppleofhiseye What if we created them, to put it in better perspective, what if the collective conscience of mankind is "God". The only reason that I said the first 2 things is because there are only 2 things that exist in this world #1. is energy and #2. is information. Everything that you believe exists doesn't actually exist, it only exist because you perceive it to exist. Just to be clear I'm not trying to attack your beliefs, I'm only asking you to open your mind.

  • @Maurice1469 explain? im interested in your idea

  • @TheDlalp Well, to begin with my "Personal" beliefs are a combination of science and religions the world over. The basis of my earlier statement comes from a combination of quantum phisics and the religions of (if I'm correct) the native tribes of Austrialia. Quantum phisics has discovered that only energy and information exist, and the tribes belief of what they call "dream time". Dream time is/was a place of "thought", and our collective thought created all that you know to exist.

  • @TheDlalp Just to be clear this is a very broad stroke across a small portion of my beliefs

  • In the beginning GOD! :) period!

  • Andrew Manford said the poo poo is the pee pee

  • Nassim Haramein has come up with interesting stuff regarding "dark matter", which is pretty much the excuse for something we have not been able to explain.

  • Seems that the proposed theories are all missing two things...what are we expanding into...what was before the big bang?

  • soon enough humans will know everything in this Universe

  • THANK YOU FOR THIS POST

  • @jojogi42 You're welcome my friend ! :)

  • Now my question is I though stars was form ffrom dusts. If this is correct then after big bang there were concentration of dusts.

  • @DraGorian777 Stars are formed of gasses - mainly helium. Depending on which time frame you pick, the early universe either consisted of smaller particles or helium,

  • i will watch this tomorrow coz im about to sleep now. but one thing fo sure, God is the creator of the universe it just cant happen without any force. big bang might have happened but it happened when God said let there be light. amen my lord God i love you and thanks for giving me your son so i can have an everlasting life with you. i hate devil i love you God my amazing father. there are troubles in this world but in light of eternity im gona be forgetting them and think about you. • 5 ppl are alien, superior intelligent life forms laughing their asses out of this.

  • the big bang was the begining of the galaxy not the universe

  • @thunderchild1083 really?

  • HOLY SHIT DEM EYES!

  • This is a great watch!

  • Great video. I also recommend ' A Briefer History of Time' by Stephen Hawkings, but lets reason togethere; lets not be proud or stubborn but fully open to knowledge and wisdom. Theres many scientist that believe in God others are not sure, yet others dont leave out that possibility; dont confuse man made religions with God because they dont quite go hand with hand.

  • No real scientist could deny a Creator. There is a beginning. Nothing can't create something. That big bang you speak of was created by who or what? None other than God Almighty.

  • and how do u know that ? are u a god ?

  • @bmdshred77 no real scientist could approve of a creationist theory... there is no evidence at all.

  • @parker522x22 Even in scientific theory it only explains how. I believe logic, and reason are what seperates us from typical animals. A creator doesn't hold water w/ me. I always saw it as a stab at why not how. If nothing else it promotes good behavior and lifestyle. It even uses guilt and a retirement package as motivation.

  • @cdemanelis very true

  • @cdemanelis At the same time one does not have to believe in a god to be a person that is behaved and lives a good lifestyle. None the less I believe that religion is used to maintian an exeptable level of social order

  • @Maurice1469 Principle, moral, and ethic determine right and wrong. From childhood all are taught from different angles to instill concience. Religion is another outlet to teach it is by no means a requirement for said lifestyle (i personally don't choose that method). It promotes practice of principle, principle create social order, law maintains order.

  • @cdemanelis Agreed up until the point where law maintains order, law will eventually cause anarchy by means of unreasonable oppression. This is based on the fact that law only exists because the masses allow it to be so, once the majority are no longer free enough to live comfortably pandoras box will open

  • @Maurice1469 I can agree with that. The idea is to maintain but yes inevitably and law and government increase leads to anarchy. America was founded from a similar situation. Democracy dwindles and civil uprise begins just as in Greece right now.

  • @cdemanelis The american republic does not have to suffer the same fate, it is salvageable. If only the people would open their eyes to the reality of freedom, which is simple you can have freedom or you can have safety, you can't have both. It's not their fault, it's human nature for a person to want security. There is a saying "People don't want to be free, they only want to be free enough to live comfortably."

  • @bmdshred77 who/what created this god then? or will you concede your first point "that nothing can't create something?" I know it's hard to think and believe in the bible at the same time, but please try to answer this simple question. Regarding your point that something can't come from nothing, quantum mechanics allows for that. But I guess they didn't know that in the bronze age.

  • this is the worst piece of shit documentary ever lol

  • Very informative ; thank you very much << :

  • I think the Universe is breathing, and we are seeing the inhale, so I seems expanding. I we saw the exhale, it would probably scare the Hell out of us.

  • The universe is so much greater than any man-made god. Yahweh, Elohim, Allah, Saturn, God... all man-made ideas to explain what we don't know. All the same thing: bullshit. Modern gods are just as real as the giant booby fertility gods of our ancient ancestors. It is frustrating that people with perfectly good brains choose to plant their heads up their asses and stop thinking about our fascinating universe, chalking it up to god and retarding the whole species.

  • @Titantron9000 Only ignorance can drive religious believers to think their god and only their god created everything... that’s like saying, my dad can beat up your dad! Which is easy to understand coming from people that believe in fairytales books..

  • @Titantron9000 Wrong Titan, A Jewish Man Named Jesus of Nazareth Created the Universe. Jesus's Kingdom is the Nation of Israel in the future. It is very provable that Jesus did actually created the universe, however you don't read and ignore the facts written in the Gospels and the Torah.

  • @76BlueLions Please say you're being satirical.

  • @shade1978x No I'm not being sarcastic nor am I joking about the fact that Jesus literally rules the Jewish Israeli Kingdom in the future. The truth is that the Israeli people in the future had made a successful achievement establishing technology that enabled their civilisation to visit that past from their future. I can refer you to many documented Biblical texts for you with common sense to comprehend.Jesus of Nazareth is the Living God of Abraham. After Jesus was born, he went to the Begining

  • @76BlueLions The bible is a collection of stories that don't even agree with one another! Everything you read about Jesus was written hundreds of years after his death. Gullible people, like yourself, will believe stuff that is not real. People that are manipulative figure that out and use it to lead people like you around by the nose. Manipulative people have used people like you for thousands of years! Help break the cycle my friend, the universe is much deeper than any book.

  • @Titantron9000 Are you sure that you are not making exaggerated perceptions about what you are reasoning and comprehending when you read the Bible? I do agree about the manipulations that the religious leaders usurp with the churches that they argumentatively control. How ever God loves you more then any pastor or archbishop because you seek truth, rather then the hypocritical portrayal of believe that most who go to church have. Do you believe that the big bang theory in logical? because I do.

  • @76BlueLions Check out Alan Guth giving a lecture on expansion, it adds a much needed component missing from the big bang theory. I think the Big Bang theory is the best one we have, but probably has the worst name ever, indicating there was some sort of giant explosion from nothing. Guth shows that energy can be created by the rapid expansion of dimensions when gravity has a repulsive effect. I am firmly against religion because it leads people to conclusions based on fantastical thinking.

  • @Titantron9000 Yeah, I just know remember seeing Guth on the Universe show. Guth is a Quantum Physicist who argues against the big crunch theory. Guth thinks that matter just all came together at once, at the speed of light. I think that Guth may be testing peoples intelligence on their understanding of Astrophysics that Einstein has still understood far more accurately then Hawkins or Guth. Do you think that Guth has a more logical model of the universe or Einstein?

  • @76BlueLions Actually, Guth is famous for his inflation theory. Its like a prequel to the Big Bang. If your interested check out his lectures on YouTube. Since the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate, a big crunch does seem unlikely. I think Guth has a more complete picture of the universe than Einstein, probably due in large part to Einsteins own contribution. Einstein did not want to believe the universe was expanding, until Hubble proved it. He also did not believe in probability.

  • @Titantron9000 Could it be that when we are looking at the far limit of the universe, that we are actually seeing the beginning of Time and Space. And this is why that it appears that the universe is accelerating the farther we look deeper in the universe. Its only and optical illusion that the universe is accelerating the further out in space. The universe is actually slowing down, the edge of the universe is only the beginning and the center is were the universe is slowing down and condensing.

  • @76BlueLions So...........If jesus is god, does that mean that he impregnated his own mother? I will agree that Jesus did in fact walk the earth, Roman historians took note of it, but as for him being a "god" not likely

  • @Titantron9000 the universe is so much greater than any man-made theory. the big bang, physics, all just man made ideas on how the universe works based on our human senses to explain what we dont know. all the same thing:to give us the illusion of knowing anything. the idea of God is that we cant possibly know-even with all of the observations we make with our human senses-everything there is to know about life

  • @correll28 the truth is somewhere between both of your views.

  • Allah is great he created Everything !!!

    Allahu Akbar my brothers

  • @TheDallasDragon so true!

  • 2 people dislike their own universe.

  • I often think that the universe had only one way of been created and that's the way it has been created. Thats to say if there was another universe to be created with a big bang and all it energy or material from which all things were created were the same as ours then there would only be one way the universe would be created and that is exactly as it has been created in our universe. A bit like rubik's cube only one solution. So there is not a billion possibilities just one way of creation

  • @ZeusHelios What I'm saying is this Lets say we have a puzzle that puzzle will only go together in one way. And although the puzzle may require someone to put it togeather In the creation of the universe it came togeather as it did because it was the only way for it to have come togetaher and be created the way it did. Just a thought.

  • NOTE TO SELF left @ 25:17 mins watch rest later

  • Thanks so much for your uploads, they're wonderful.

  • Should have been called the Big Silent Bang :)

  • GOD NEVER MADE THA WORLD, WATCHING THIS IS MORE BELIEVABLE THAN RELIGION AND THIS IS WHY IM AGNOSTIC

  • @xMASSxDx187x tell me how you REALLY feel...lmao

  • @xMASSxDx187x Just because we can explain things with science does not mean the universe was not created. Why is it some people think that because we can explain something then it must have happened by chance. We can expalin many things like how a car works or how a computer works yet they were created. When we learn about how things work in the universe or in nature all we are doing is finding out how God created things to work. we are discovering Gods creation and how they work.

  • @ZeusHelios you see you put god in there. just slip it in. god is just another way of saying I don't know. It's a lazy way of explaning things away.

  • @MrB17FlyingFortress I would disagree with you. Saying God created all things does not take away the fun of investigating things neither does it take away our ideas or theories etc to come up with answers to how the universe was created. After all it was created in some way whether that was by God or by chance. We still can rattle our brains to find out how it was created by chance or how God had created things.

  • @ZeusHelios if someone one day found evidence for a creator god, then you should start believe it. Until then you are just making wild speculation, which never really seem to provide anything but comforting ignorance.

  • @tristbjornby I have heard comments like yours so many times The trouble with atheist is there life is based on science to belive anything. You may belive only what you see or what sceince can prove. That is your choice. But as for me and many others who belive in God we can belive because we have personal experiences that tell us God is real We don't need others to tells us. Science cant prove everything yet. And it has already proven things exist that we cant see or even experience.

  • @ZeusHelios

I was just interested to see what you would think about this statement, I am not speculating or trying to be ill mannered in any way! however, religion vs. science right?

ok so.. Consider for just 1 second that "the big bang" (again I am not trying to offend!) was an act of.. well god? for example--> eveolution. Science says we evolved from fish in a pond or something.. how is that NOT created by god?? I hope i'm making a little sense.. please reply.

  • @beefzerky Sure no problem at all. I personally have no problem with believing in evolution. I don't see that against a creationist view that God created all things including life. It would make sense to me that evolution took place. However it would also make sense to me that God created us instantly. I say this because If God can created all things then he sure wont have a problem to create humans instantly from the ground. Science some time in the future may achieve the same thing - continued-

  • @beefzerky lets say a God created the universe. You will note that the universe goes through various stages or evolution. God did not appear to create the stars instantly but they were created through a process until they became what they are today. If that's the case with stars then why wouldn't God not also apply it to life Why should life have not gone through stages or evolution to get where it is today. Is it then reasonable to conclude that God may have created life through evolution-cont-

  • @beefzerky Hope this helped The question we must ask is this. Can the universe create itself and all life forms including intelligent life without a creator If so how is that possible. I often ask how life can blindly evolve one creature into another each and every time through out all the millions of years and keep on succeeding and evolving despite the environment changes. Its odd how it has achieved so much success. But I guess it could be possible if there is enough species to keep life going

  • @beefzerky Just one more thing. You have probably wondered why we are the only highly intelligent life forms on earth. I guess we could say it would have eventually happened after so many millions of years. Or is that true The question I ask is this How is it we are the only highly intelligent creatures on earth that have a perfect body form to match our intelligence. If we had the form of any other creature how will we cope with such intelligence in us Our intelligence and form match perfectly

  • @tristbjorn Its lack of proof does not suggest it does not exist. Sceince is not the only means to discover things. You know you can see and yet you did not need sceince to prove it to you. The ancients and animals dont need sceince to prove things of what they can experience. Niether do many people of todayYour narrow minded ways of seeing things prevents your progress to possible truth For you will only seek what you belive you can prove.

  • @tristbjorn The evidence is available to us But atheist just cant' see it. You think that sceince has no prove of it and that is what your whole life is based on. There are no wild speculations. There is prove but its not prove enough for people like you Your logic is based on your own logic and not real logic You fail to look at all angles and then you think its logical to concluded that your right .

  • @tristbjorn There would be no point in arguing with you. I have done so with others and the arguments go no were. You keep your reasons to not belive and I will keep my beliefs based on my reasons. Just as I have all the prove I need that I can see without sceince telling me I can see.

  • @xMASSxDx187x i second that LOL god doesnt exist!

  • Pretty cool, thank you lol

  • Aristarchus , was a Greek astronomer and mathematician, born on the island of Samos, in Greece. He presented the first known heliocentric model of the solar system, placing the Sun, not the Earth, at the center of the known universe!.Before him it was Orpheus thousands of years ago,who wrote about that!...Copernicus studied Aristarchus ,it was not his discovery!

  • ...Archimedes wrote:

"You King Gelon are aware the 'universe' is the name given by most astronomers to the sphere the centre of which is the center of the Earth, while its radius is equal to the straight line between the center of the Sun and the center of the Earth. This is the common account as you have heard from astronomers....

  • ...... But Aristarchus has brought out a book consisting of certain hypotheses, wherein it appears, as a consequence of the assumptions made, that the universe is many times greater than the 'universe' just mentioned...........Archimedes said...

  • .... His hypotheses are that the fixed stars and the Sun remain unmoved, that the Earth revolves about the Sun on the circumference of a circle, the Sun lying in the middle of the orbit, and that the sphere of fixed stars, situated about the same center as the Sun, is so great that the circle in which he supposes the Earth to revolve bears such a proportion to the distance of the fixed stars as the center of the sphere bears to its surface...

  • documentaries like this always fascinates me..

  • Universe will never exhaust its energy because it is continuous cycle of conversion of energy from Endothermic energy (combining / fusion of ions to hydrogen, hydrogen to helium to higher elements or rare heavy metals) to exothermic energy (splitting to smaller elements) and conserve Energy.

  • @MrVrsilvestrejr2008 you could have just said energy is constant and cannot be created or destroyed....

  • @MrVrsilvestrejr2008 Lets say in billions of years time one of 3 events will occur either the universes stretches out so far so as nothing is visible or it collapses back in on it self. or some other event will occur. Perhaps when the universe is so stretched out it will recreate another big bang and start all over again.

  • @ZeusHelios i like your idea and who knows maybe you're right...anyways awesome video!!!!!!

  • 0 dislikes! Truly, how could anyone ever dislike this? Awesome vid! Everything cosmic is awesome!

  • im so lonely... haha.

  • Excellent sound and image and a neat way of linking the major players in the discovery of how the universe came to be. This is a top class documentary, thanks for uploading it.

  • very very awesome, thxxx a lott !!!

  • thanks for uploading this !!

  • ITS PLESURE FOR ME , MY BROTHERS .... HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!!

  • Great doc. thanks so much.

  • @MrLiamHenderson how did life appear from nothingness ?

  • @TheMessanjah life didn't appear from nothingness. It came about after there was actually something. These questions have been put fort ad nauseam, but if you really want to know go to talkorigins(dot)org

  • Thank you!
