@PrishtinaHottiee That's not true.. languages like Old-persian, sanskrit and Avestan are the first or oldest indo-european languages in relation to sub branch of indo-iranic/aryan(Iranian) tounges. Why you think we call it for indo-european people and languages? because the indo-europeans migrated somewhere from historical lands as northern India and Persia, to Europe about 2500-3000 bc during bronze age. Later ancient languages like old-greek(Illyrian,albanian) and latin developed in Europe!

What is for sure is that the Shqip (albanian) language is of the Indo-europian branch with many words in common with ancient Illyrian. there is also evidence than classical Greek borrowed such words as kāpos (kopsht), mélitta (bletë), and lákhanon (lakër) from the Illyrian predecessor language to modern Shqip.
