Axel is like one of those squeeze toys who's been squeezed too much and doesn't make the right sound anymore. He's all worn out. This is sad, and Axel should've left the name Guns and Roses back in the 90's, then maybe he would still be considered a success.

No, he couldn't. He could play the same notes, but it wouldn't have any rhythm or style in it. He just likes to hit random notes and tries to impress and show off to the audience. Slash's solo made you dance and tap your foot, or bang your head. A good soloist is not who can play the fastest, but who can use the least amount of notes and still be good.

The feeling in the new GNR is gone.. The solos are just shredlicks and doesnt sound satisfying to my ears... Gnr will never be the same, and its worse now .

I think new GNR have some much more technically amazing solos, and the overall sound is much more closer to the studio versions than the original gnr's sound.

Im kidding, but to be honest these guys are much better players, perhaps you could argue they dont write catchy riffs etc like Slash did, but overall they are better players.

tbh honest when i first heard Buckethead play in gnr i was impressed by the good job he did, This guy hasn't impress me at all, there's no style in him whatsoever, is just random notes, crazy shred, and then back to original song, and then again and again and again, it just gets boring..... it just seems that he's trying a bit too hard
