i bought a Mazda 626 four years ago off craigslist with 154K for 4,000. transmission just died with 255K. i did have to do a few things when i first bought it but it was a great car and i will miss it.
looked at a Mazda3 today but it had water in the truck where the spare tire goes. WTF? hasn't rained here in weeks.

The guy tried to rob me with a knife, but he didn't know that my best buddy was sitting in the truck behind us with an AR-15 in his lap. Luckily no shots had to be fired, the dude almost started crying when he saw the rifle. Turns out the car was stolen anyway.

No car yet. Farthest I biked is 14 miles to Chicago. I'm on a NICE GT Bikes with rare 6 point mags. Not a lame mountain bike. I never encountered issues, yet.. But I'm always packing. [legal or not]. I biked to Little Village to sell $50 in products. VERY dangerous place. Bad pavement. Lots of black
Use common sense, don't go alone and carry a big stick. Seriously though never go to check out something for sale on Craigslist without bringing along some other people. Would be better if the people you brought look like they can each take on a small army.
one time a guy called me about my nintendo mags/nintendo cheat books collection the guy said he would pay the $10 i was asking he sent his dad who got the mags from me and then throwed then in the front seat of his two seated car and went to take off wit out paying me but i stoped him and told him his son agreed to pay me the $10 i was asking for them and he curse me out and threw the $10 at me and got in his car and took off.
I heard a story where someone met a seller in a darkly lit parking lot, then gave the seller counterfeit money. The seller said he was taken off guard as to how the "buyer" got in his car so fast and left after giving the seller the counterfeit money. I sold some stuff on Craigslist, but I wont ever let anyone in my home. That is just plain stupid.
@TheCooperBeatz Usally a scam or a robbery happens at a location that is not where they hang out. Like if your from one town you would scam or rob in the next town over and pretend you live some where else. Being scammed in person can happen to anyone and the likely hood of you being able to ID a scammer is one in a million. Once it happens your pritty much screwed as all sales online are as is where is so legally you are the one at fault. Unless its a robbery at gun point then thats just wrong
