  • why is it that youtube has only got OLD movies on it???when i clicked this,i thought it would be the 2011/2012 version O.o XD DX

  • Aw damn it! Its in fricken squishy screen.

  • SO OLD

  • HI

  • SO STIPED

  • @bettyboop599 ur STUPID u can't evan spell it

  • A good adaptation for the stage I guess, but I was very disappointed overall. I had to watch it on my primary display while scrolling through the Wikipedia synopsis on my secondary display. With all bizarre encounters reduced to a little drama between actors (good ones) and only the cat of all the animals, the wonder of the story is lost. OK if the story is totally new to you but I disapprove.

  • A bit too...artsy for my taste.

  • this makes me want to watch madeline lmfao

  • Oh the mad hatter... :)

  • nice

  • Wow, this is great! I laughed at some parts, and it was overall a beautiful inteurpretation of the Alice story.

  • ......ummm....ok.....i didn't watch like 90% of it but in my opinion it's kind of weird ....just saying

  • DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE . RH -

  • Oh, that's what "anthropomorphic" is .. all the characters that were supposed to be animals are played by people, except, I think, for the Cheshire Cat, which doesn't grin. Very strange version.

  • may i know the name of the girl who played as ALICE? this movie is excellent!

  • excellent movie.

  • @Gaybillicious FUCKIN LAWL

  • 9:03 the poop

  • i do not like this it's too old :(

  • @shanay747 i agree... it is a classic but it is too.... you know?

  • peter cook as the mad hatter, and dudley moore as the dormouse in another version of alice in wonderland, peter sellers played the march hare in that too, i think spike milligan was in it also..

  • Alice in monochrome.

  • i fucking hate ppl saying "this is old" and "so old"

what did yoou expect??? that 50 years ago they had 3D , Avatar,Blue Ray ,greeenscreen and computers? show some fucking respect

  • realy enjoyed th film.worth stopping in 4...thk you...

  • This is a fantastic rendition of Alice in Wonderland.

  • Fantastic.

  • I love old movies

  • Thanks, love this!

  • رائع

  • What is up with Alice's hair? Ever heard of frizz control? hahaha

  • whats wrong with this video

  • and then there was tim burtin. -.-

  • @BookMaster101 tim who? ah you mean tim (it has to be dark) burton

  • The director of photography did a good job.

  • :P

  • macam babi

  • nn j'aime pas

  • thi is my fav version. it is a rather darker side of the children's story. i think it captures the mood of the sixties and all the counter culture and drug use theme. the actress plays alice as an angst filled teen who hates her surrondings. she looks for adventure and marvels in the strange beings she encounters.

  • i have watched almost every version but this one yay XD i get to watch it now ;D lolz

  • @drValalupe um that's kinda hurtful because i love Tim Burton but i kinda have to agree with u =P =b

  • I like the idea of the movie but the Alice actress is really bad. Couldn't stand her.

  • lol i meant to say "dear" not "dead"!!

  • oh my freekin dead god

  • what the .................

  • good t z

  • I find this difficult to masturbate to.

  • well done gives you the feeling of dreamscape and makes you wonder what lewis carol was smoking was there a polictial message in this story

  • yeah this is gonna give me nightmares.

  • Not bad, but not too good either. And the real Alice Liddell was far more beautiful, enter Google Images, they have a few pics of her.

  • Reality only makes slightly more sense then this.

  • And this is why you should make movies on LSD.

  • @sixstringfender iit was made to watch on Opium, not LSD. >_>

  • Every bit as good as I'd heard it was. Thanks for this.

Much love from Caterpillar Smoke x

  • I don't understand, is it the new one?

  • @EnchantedPalmTree no it isnt lol, they never put actual movies up coz its copyright

  • @beautiebee er they do now for some reason..and in HD too..

  • i was lost at 11:23... stopped watching

  • good, but her hair annoys me :P

  • Is there any sense in nonsense? watch?v=vUquwphutXo

  • I saw the original transmission of this, I was six years old, and because I had recently read the book I was allowed to stay up to watch it. Watching it again after all that time it seems wierder than I remember, it isn´t really an adaption aimed at children. Thanks for making this available, it brought back memories!

  • i love it.

  • Shows you what drugs and a strange story combined can do

  • While interesting, the whispering got annoying. @_@;

  • whats up with her hair get a straightener bitch!

  • @retartedplatypus98 who back of just in case you cant read but up at the top like it says it was filmed in 1966 they had strainers but the charter's dint have one so the charter's is the one with messed up hair

  • Omg, idk why but.. i'm scared!!!

  • I dont get this version...

  • @khayle1313 its 'surreal' but so is the original story..in fact alice almost narrates the whole story if you read it..

  • Weird...

  • "Now who's making personal remarks!" I laughed so hard.

  • ha wtf

  • lol simon u r funny

  • excellent acting... this version captures the mystery, emotions and craziness perfectly! i enjoyed this film very much. The cinematography and camera shots are beautiful and very artistic, it can rival any modern big-budget film.

  • @elms3211 now i know why i am so wierd..i am from england

  • @elms3211 why

  • why was there Indian music at the end? :|

  • @r0zesefid It's a reference to the Victorian Empire that took over India, and also because this was filmed during the 60s, there was a lot of Indian music or at least instruments used in popular bands like the Beatles. Combined with all the drugs taken in the 60s, and the psychedelic effects a lot of Victorian painkillers had that may have influenced Carroll to write this.
