I have made a lot of musics in musescore ( The program i was using to compose) about 25 musics at minimum. I am looking foward for this program Sibelius. Its just awesome.
A simple, elegant little piece demonstrating ternary form and a good use of sequence to create unity without making the whole thing too repetitive. While not overly complex or novel, it is definitely a great reconciliation of diversity and unity.
sibelius is the bst software o se, its verr versitile and yo can do much more with it. by the way reall nice composition, i think it might need a little alberti bass or a moving bassline tho to keep the piece moving towards te A2 section :)
WatchingVide0, the difference is you have limited instruments and choices in student and can use up to 12 staves. In full you can use infinite staves and have over 200+ instruments to choose from.
I suggest, go with Sib, Finale has a complicated interface, unlike sibelius, the only problem of Sib is its Playback soound w/s is not a major prob, Sib 6 has a rewire unlike Finale.
Sibelius software was created by music writers, not a programer, so they know what to expect.
They say Sib lacks a depth compare to Finale, I dont know what it is.
I can guarantee you, Sib is very "user-friendsly" software,
In Finale, you would have to memorize most of its keyboard shortcuts to write a score
@danielFallus55 A good insight. The only people I know who prefer finale actually write all of their music by hand, then enter it into finale when they need to publish it or clean it up to get it played.
@Blitzbok In my spare time I use Sibelius, however my school uses Finale. I like Sibelius a lot more, it's much more complete and I'm very sure most of the students at my school would agree. A good tip is to download a demo and check out for yourself, otherwise join some forums that can give you good tips as well.

This software looks good, not sure which to choose. Sibelius Student or Finale Songwriter 2010. Any thoughts?

@Blitzbok I heard Finale is difficult. Funale user told me how easy Sibelius is. I started with sibelius so I'll stick to it.

I've been using Sibelius from its v3 till v6, and a loyal Sib user, its really great.
I wonder whats the diff bet. the Sib Student and a full Sib?
I like your work, I suggest you try to put some highligts, I mean, like a climax part.
Thanks for posting

@danielFallus55 I agree. Maybe I could have made it more complex.
The differences would be number of instruments and things like that.
Student version is enough for me but I will get a full version sometimes.
Thanks for comment!

Hi
you see a tool bar on top?
well there is all the buttons to show or hide the tool boxes.
That's where you need to click and figure out which one it was.
Also go up to menu bar under item Windows, there are all the tool palettes.
