Hey man, thanks so much. I just replaced the glass and lcd of my old IPhone 2G and since then could not get any service from the phone, I tried absolutely everything.
Then I watched your video and I realised it was possible that one of the antennaes may have dropped off. Sure enough when I removed the back cover again I saw the GSM one had popped off. I put it back on and that sorted it.
This didn't even occur to me to check that. Thanks !!
@ggemjakio wait im sorry bro it brought my phone up by one bar amasing because it wasn't getting any serves in my neighborhood and now im n my bastment and i have one bar so to me its a big difference THANK YOU BRO ALOT
@ggemjakio Ive clearly stated that you take your own risks doing this and im not responsible if you damage your phone.
Also, if you're having no signal error in first place, the causes may vary. One common cause is that the baseband of the 2g is broken. My fix helps if you dropped your phone or simila and since then it gave signal problems. Probably you put too much force into pressuring the antenna jacks, you have to do this with a small screwdriver and a very little pressure.
@gbadoctor disregard the negative comment because it did work and help me out i mean i think my wifi got weaker but my phone antenna went way up, & im saying thank u
@ggemjakio Oh ok, be sure to do things with iphone turned off in order to avoid electric shocks to the logic board.
If your wifi got weaker be sure that its your wifi the problem, because sometimes it happens with my 3gs and 90% of the cases is due to my router. simply reset it and your wifi should work normally, and reboot your phone :)

i tryed your little mod but idid not break my phone.
The only problem that it created is that it lowers my wifi connection and not my phone just does not connect to anything wtf bro
