  • I have to say I admire Thunderf00t for his patience, arguing with a fundie is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how reasonable you may be, their strategy is always the same: knock over all the pieces, crap on the board and then fly back to their flock to claim victory.

  • Well I've heard alot about this Ray Comfort but although I don't agree with his belief, and although I think he sometimes argues with fallacies at least he's willing to sit down for a long time and really try and argue his point of view in a calm debate. You have to respect anyone who is willing to do that.

  • Thunderfoot, I hope you take notice to all your atheist supporters' comments on these videos..because they wreak of Christian hatred..something I think you don't possess-you seem like a nice guy who has no hate in his heart for us believers but be wary your supporters on here continue to make jokes and cracks with undertones of cruelness towards believers..it is a reflection on yourself unfortunately

  • lol thunderf00t wasnt turnin down that free meal

  • loser gets to pay for lunch

  • ps...ooops! theres another one.

"intellectually dishonesty weasle this man is"...lol

Pray tell me,what's a dishonesty weasle? Is that another species you have just found?..

  • Damn you I thought it was over on the last vid.

  • Wow, thank you for this Thunderf00t, was very interesting to watch.

I am amazed at how much leniency you allowed yourself to give him but in the end it really highlights what a evading, intellectually dishonesty weasel this man is.

Well, if another of example of that with him. Heh.

  • @Vickibrownies Your grammar sir is intellectually dishonest..lol

  • @Vickibrownies lmfao..."it really highlights what a evading,"? wtf!?...lol

"Well,if another of example of that with him.Heh."..lmffffao...What on earth are you suppose to have evolved from,Huh!?......;0)

  • what I admire is your ability to discuss this issue without it getting extreamly heated as such disscussions usually get.

  • (continued...) If the moral sense tells you anything, it is that HELL is unjust and unfair. If you are a Christian, then you better find some way of interpreting Jesus metaphorically when he talks about eternal fire. As you know that thunderf00t is wrong to say that morality is only what benefits the society, you know in your heart of hearts than the punishment of hell for any crime is also wrong.

  • Every human being has a moral sense. (almost every) Where did that sense of right and wrong come from? Lets admit for the sake of argument that we do not know. Now imagine a little girl who lied to her parents about stealing a piece of sugar candy. 2 sins. Try to convince yourself that the most it is the highest justice to throw her into eternal fire and inconceivable suffering for this crime, because that is what she deserves. The moral sense reels!!

  • Thunderfoot 10 Comfort 0.

  • Its quite astounding - the levels of dilusion that creationists have ...

  • @dborg321 uhhh you sit there on your m theory with multiple dimensions and you have the nerve to call comfort delusional. nice.

well, thanks to the multiverse, theres a universe out there where you are ray comforts bitch.

  • @angryaznman *** Slow clap *** what thats a come back? I take it you believe in the banana theory - I mean hey! Its shaped to fit your hand, and even (in your case) your backside- so it must have come from god. Dufuss

  • @dborg321 nope. i dont find his banana theory any better than m theory or multiverses. you cant make fun of someones explanation for creation when yours isnt any better.

and it seriously isnt. do some light reading.

  • @angryaznman yep. You need to do some reading yourself. Preferably books that won't confuse you too much- maybe ones with pretty pictures, and large font, and maybe lots of colours so you wont lose focus too quickly. Little golden books are good for you - I see children get a lot out of them

  • @dborg321 as i thought. you have no proper rebuttal because these theories are at the forefront of modern science.

  • @angryaznman A rebuttle for what? A man in the sky performing magical tricks? You haven't read enough about evolution. Its so tiring having to continually inform creatards of this fact. Creatards use the same tired arguments. Look - if you want to believe a man created the universe in 7 days (um 6 days as he had to rest on the 7th), talking snakes, burning bushes etc thats fine! We just dont want your fairy tales and banana explanations in the classroom. Run along and get mummy to read for you

  • @dborg321 you are wasting your time. should i go into the details of m theory for you?

clashing membranes forming universes? multiple dimensions? parallel universes?

you are just as blind as creationists. in complete denial about how ridiculous your own creation ideas sound.

pathetic. the guise of logic and reason is fake for people like you. you pretend. you are an actor.

  • @angryaznman Who said I follow or believe this theory is correct? What are you dribbling about now? Yes some scientists have crazy hypothesis to try to explain the universe. They then actively (Through peer review) try to dismantle them or disprove them. Its a hypothesis. Its science. People thought time slowing at different speeds was also wack - but guess what? Its proved true. Now lets look at creatards- they- in the face of mountains of contradictions still hold on to the burning bush. U fail

  • @dborg321 lol some. m theory is at the forefront. have you wiki it yet?

the only thing you get credit for is being willing to change in the face evidence. you dont get credit for a more plausible creation theory. simple fact.

  • @dborg321 lol some. m theory is at the forefront. have you wiki it yet?

the only thing you get credit for is being willing to change in the face evidence. you dont get credit for a more plausible creation theory. simple fact.

  • I think the expression goes..."there's no such thing as a free lunch" Ray offered to pay for lunch and Thunderf00t accepted, however, I challenge anyone to watch this discussion in its entirety and claim that Thunderf00t didn't have to work for that meal LOL.

  • @JoeMedwick

The saying simply means that even though one may receive free food or something of the sort, somebody else had to work to produce that meal.

That is example of missing the point.

  • @ZhadoxFlamez I know the the expression means and I was't missing the point LOL I was using sarcasm...I meant that by having to break bread with Ray Comfort Thunderf00t is infact "Paying" for his lunch by spending his free time with the likes of Ray Comfort. It was a joke hence the LOL at the end of my original post post

  • Ray Comfort seems like a good and honest guy, but very difficult to convince.

  • I enjoy this series.. i guess part 7 was my favorite.

  • Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

  • "I'm paying for lunch ok?"

Well at least Ray can't be accused of being a Jew ;)

  • @SquareRo0o0t he is a jew lol! Im not joking!

  • @jbtcrazy Kudos Comfort, getting me off the scent...nice try!

  • @SquareRo0o0t It might have something to do with the $4 million he's made scaring people into Christianity.

  • @SquareRo0o0t despite being a annoying idiot, ray is actually a nice person who is sincere when he says things like he doesnt want thunderfoot to go to hell

  • Well, uh...

    Ray paid for lunch.

So... he's not an asshole. He's just an idiot.

    ...I guess that's a win for him? =P

  • 'it's time for lunch i'm buying' 'aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh OK'

  • Wow, I really admire Tf00t for his patience.

  • @Schindlabua If you think this is patience, you should check out the vid where he interviews the westboro baptist lady...

    I can't even imagine.

  • that is how god works it is interesting because like when cain killed his brother in gen 4:9 god said wheres your brother and cain said i do not know am i my brothers keeper. now god could have come down and said why did you kill your brother he knew but is it interesting how he said it where is your brother seting a example so i think it was a example to show us how he created the world he likes to do things to lead to a event which shows us a deeper calm smart beyond our understanding

  • @allendoc1000 No, it's not interesting at all. It's a third rate fairy tale at best. There are some interesting bits in it but the motivations of the Bible's protagonist line up with any other mad tyrant... like Saddam Hussein being omnipotent. By the way, it's strange and rather silly, even for a follower of an Abrahamic religion, how much you anthropomorphize your god. You're an adult now, it's time to put away childish things.

  • @TheLivirus The funny thing about stepping stones is that they can help you move forward, or they can trip you up and make you fall flat on your face, depending on your stride...

  • I don't think it is a good idea to hang out in the enemies domain.

  • @john17972 Ray's not an enemy though lol

  • I have no idea if I like this or not. Thunderf00t, you've done an amazing debate. I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes with that guy, I'm impressed!

But your extreme intellect does not diminish the fact that I Ray is a fucking idiot. It was horrible watching his answers, I had to pause the series a number of times just to calm down from his stupidity!

But i watched through all the 9 videos (10 if this one counts) so I guess I enjoyed it. You should take all the credit for that thunderf00t!

  • I really doubt that if the creation story described god as making everything in an instant someone would say "why didn't he take 6 days?"

  • Summary:

Thunderf00t is sitting there making an effort to find the right words and examples for explaining these deep complex questions, while Ray is sitting there in his naive untroubled ignorance beliving the answer is just "god". Whenever Thunderf00t is nearing a conclusion that proves Ray wrong, Ray changes the subject. As soon as Thunderf00t starts citing and questioning the Bible Ray decides the discussion is over.

Discussing with creationists seem hopeless to me.

  • Thunderf00t has a great amount of patience. I was facepalming through this whole series. The amount of ignorance Ray has of Physical Evidence And Reasoned Logic is enough for one to justifiably label him batshit crazy.

  • It's funny how "god" created light on the "first day", but then waits until the "fourth day" to create stars. Very... odd.

Also, why does "god" need to rest after he created the universe on the seventh day? I thought he was omniscient and omnipresent.

  • @HungryTacoBoy "God" did not know the sun was actually a close-up star, because man created "God" in his own image.

  • @TheLivirus

What a guy. He creates the whole universe, leaves no physical evidence for his existence besides a book written by some 40 different people thousands of years ago [that doesn't give any new insight into this world while being riddled with contradictions], and damns us to hell for not acknowledging his existence and devoting our life in honour of him. We've been creating these gods for so long, I figured we'd have a better version of one by now. ;P

  • @HungryTacoBoy Gods were filling gaps in knowlage. As these gaps have been narrowed down and patched, our need for gods have also shrinked. Religion have enabled certain people to take powerful and influential positions in society. The more belivers, the more power and influense these people gain. In my oppinion it is they clinging to their positions, which is the answer to why religion remains strong in many western societies.

  • @TheLivirus

I agree. People wanted answers for things they didn't understand, thus they formed gods to fill in these gaps as to why things are the way they are. I really dislike the power that religion has gained. It hinders our knowledge and understanding of the universe. Imagine if there were no such thing as religion and how much we'd know of our universe by now! :D

  • @HungryTacoBoy I'm not so sure about that. Religion had it's place in the past. It was a good foundation to build societies around. One can speculate if this even might have been the intent of the authors. The church for example was very much a place to gather and discuss important matters, kind of like a towncenter. Villages were often built around churches. Maybe western societies wouldn't have developed like this without christianity. What's clear though, is that we no longer need religion.

  • @TheLivirus

I see what you mean and I agree to some extent. The thing is, the cost of religion started to outweigh the benefits, specifically when there were brilliant ideas that religions simply would not tolerate as it went against their views. Christianity did play a role in helping societies develop our western values, but I'm not sure how directly related the two are.

  • @HungryTacoBoy Yes of course religion has been and still is holding development back. All I'm saying is that religion may have had an important role in our development. I kind of look at it like a steppingstone.

  • @TheLivirus

That's a good way of putting it, "a stepping stone". However meaningless that stepping stone may be for our journey today, it was important, it was crucial in its time to help us overcome an obstacle. :D

  • thx a lot man enjoyed that =]

  • Ray Comfort may be mislead but one cannot deny his sincerity. He seems like a really nice guy.

  • @lieutenantnobody I was gonna say the same about thunderfoot

  • @gallantentry Well, Thunderf00t is obviously genuine. Have you seen his videos? I never thought of him as anything less. Ray Comfort, on the other hand, talks with such ignorance that I couldn't help but think he's purposefully deceiving and bigoted. Of course, I was mistaken. He is undeniably quite "Christian-like"... unfortunately that does not make his views any more valid.

  • @lieutenantnobody Ray Comfort is genuine too. Why would He bother to share the gospel with thunderfoot if he wasn't? He has nothing to gain personally. But seeing someone come to the Lord is a joyous thing for any Christian. He want thunderfoot saved.

  • Awww, that was greatly sweet of Ray to take Thundy out to lunch! :)

  • i started with hair like thunderf00ts now it looks like rays

  • Nice ending; the solar system without the sun as everything revolves around the earth eventually.

  • @PawnBACM Pardon?

  • @alexwars2 What? I think it's interesting it took "God" four days to create the thing that lies at the center of earth's solar system; It's almost an afterthought. The earth is the beginning and everything in the creation account effectively revolves around it as to priority and chronology. Look at the reasons stated for the sun's creation in the account; to divide day from night, for signs, for seasons, for days and years, but nothing about photosynthesis or anything else.

  • @PawnBACM Without the sun, I would hypothesis that earth would revolve around Jupiter, as I think that's the densest planet in the solar system, though I may be wrong.

Wait, are you arguing for or against a god?

  • @alexwars2 Without the sun, it's all irrelevant to begin with. That was where my original comment was meant to go. However, I may have sacrificed clarity for brevity. The sun is integral, but one wouldn't think so by reading Genesis. It's one of the things I found most fascinating about Genesis when I got older as many indigenous American Creation stories are so quickly dismissed as myth yet start with the sun. Many attributes of the sun are mentioned, but none of the most important are.

  • @PawnBACM Ah, so you are stating some Native American myths have more credibility than Genesis as they mention the sun as a life giver?

  • @alexwars2 I'm more inclined to state I find it difficult to believe, and the epitome of irony, I live in a country where 80% of the people can look to the creation story in the bible and view certain aspects of Native American stories as mythical. The indigenous arguably understood nature and the interaction of things much better, not to mention a "Great Spirit" is certainly more interchangeable with concepts of conscious awareness than obvious manifestations easily explained as earthquakes

  • @alexwars2 storms, forest fires, whatever. Science claims man uses but 10% of the brain and there is no disputing the entire human body is a veritable grid of electricity. The more humanity evolves, the more perceptive it becomes. I believe some day man will evolve to the point ESP, clairvoyance, whatever may become commonplace. Maybe people that had verifiable, predicted dreams, etc. were simply evolutionary anomalies; maybe had something genetically different. Maybe that's possible.

  • @PawnBACM The point about us using only 10% of the brain is that different bits of the brain do different things. There would be no point to using the entire brain unless you were doing some task that involved pretty much everything your brain could do all at the same time. Also, evolution doesn't make things subjectively better; it simply makes things more adapted to their environment. Hence ‘ESP’ wouldn't evolve even if it were possible for it to happen unless our environment required it.

  • @sashavboyd I wouldn't disagree with your statement that different regions or lobes of the brain are for different functions. I would disagree, however, that the brain isn't likely to evolve unless our environment required it. Many things in the environment people's bodies are subjected to, from chemicals to changes in the earth's atmosphere, arguably could. As well, the ever increasing intellectual demands of society could.

  • Comment removed

  • @sashavboyd Additionally, I don't necessarily segregate efficiency or efficacy from necessity. I agree that something being required, particularly with respect to things that sustain basic life function and sustenance, are the most powerful forces at work in evolution. I'm just not as sure as you are that evolution hasn't/couldn't facilitate(d) something as simple as esp, given adaptations and mutations, when the brain and biology of "mammals" is geared towards it and against atavisms, etc. IDK

  • @sashavboyd Actually, saying we use 10% of our brain is being generous. Our brains are actually infinitely capable of learning, you should look it up.

  • @GetReadySetTerrible I'm not sure what you mean by ‘infinitely capable’. I also didn't give the figure; I merely pointed out that using more of the brain's ‘power’ would be largely pointless and wouldn't lead to magical powers.

  • @sashavboyd I'm sorry, I should have said able to gain infinite knowledge, as in there isn't a limit to our ability to understand and gain knowledge. I misworded.

  • @alexwars2 The fact remains so much of the bible is simply absurd at a BASIC scientific level, I am certainly not a biologist, physicist, or chemist, where does one even begin. People need the simple science; evolution is more comprehensive than many, particularly believers, will ever invest. For instance, I could say one that believes the deluge account simply suffers from lack of a looking pool and a fast food straw. You can grab people with refraction and "flat rain" makes no sense, but

  • @alexwars2 they may not want to "understand" evolution. If so, you are never going to convince them in evolutionary terms. You can forget about sanskrit, Sumerian accounts, and everything else. IDesigners have them mesmerized with gatorducks, chickahippos and all the other crap. You have to think drinking straw. If they have ambition, they will get to evolution and eventually macro it. If not, you're still competing with gatorducks, chickahippos, and banana man.

  • @PawnBACM Tl:dr.

  • @alexwars2 It made more sense to me as I got older that the "divinely" provided attributes, i.e. biblical attributes, were obviously simple basic observations about the son. "God" went as far to say animals had the breath of life in them (soul), but no indications, to any degree at all whatsoever, about the importance of the sun for photosynthesis, evaporation, oxygen, etc.; absolutely nothing. I'm not necessary arguing for/against anything; simply saying "God" is supposed to be "omniscient". ??

  • gotta admit, ray is very patient and really nice. too bad he's brainwashed

  • comfort is a waste of time. if he manages to fool anyone with disinformation those are irretrievably stupid anyway. i say leave them be.

  • @johnyu812 at least he payed for lunch!

  • Mr Comfort has no real evidence for the Herbrew god being Charlie Big Spuds ,

although i think there is a case for some super creative entity behind the universe and the meaning of life .

i thought Thunderf00t really started to enjoy himself at the end, when introducing bible quotations for Mr Comfort to respond ,he became more like Mr Discomfort .

  • Thunderf00t - I thoroughly enjoyed watching this discussion series. I just have one question. Ray Comfort and your dog are drowning, you can only save one... ;-)

  • @StevenBee2 my pup... Man how retarded is it that ray would only talk for an hour.. Thunderfoot was obviously down for probably like an entire day... That really says something to me about Comfort's beliefs that he limits his discussion to so short a time span...

  • @StevenBee2 i lol'ed

  • i respect thunderf00t because he keeps asking questions right until the end..even at lunch too!

  • I'm paying OK? LOLOL

  • Thats what I love about Christians, they allways offer to pay and usually other ch\ristians polietly decline and offer to pay instead. Athiest dont have to do any of that shit, we can just say OK.

  • @Botie2 Oh yes, here is the proof! Atheists are selfish hedonic bitches.

  • Free lunch, nice one Thunderf00t! :D

  • Watching this series reminded me of the movie Frost/Nixon. TF being David Frost and Ray being Nixon. By that i mean that Ray is a professional interviewee and clearly knew how to avoid TF's attempt at springing him. I must say TF i've seen many of your videos but in this one i thought you could have done more, it seemed like you hesitated... I was waiting for a twist that never came. It also seemed like Ray had TF figured out from the beginning and understood how to disposition him.

  • The guy is so fake, he DOESN"T want to learn the truth, cause if he does, then he won't be able to fleece the sheep for any more money. Great work Thunder√√√

  • Lol 7 parts of Comfort bashing TF with questions and only 2 parts of TF asking comfort questions, doesnt seem fair

  • im paying okay lol

  • you know, although they have completely different beliefs, its still nice to see they can go out to lunch with each other :D

  • At least thunderfoot didn't act like a douchebag like Richard Dawkins...

  • Nooooo, don't let him pay for lunch.

    Blood money!!! Blood money!!!!!!!

  • Cheers for uploading this Thunderf00t, really enjoyed listening to you both as it happens.. Ray seems like a decent enough chap, I do not agree with any of the religious elements of his argument, yet I enjoyed listening to his side as much as yours.

  • Ray Comfort makes his living from his religion so there's no way he's going to accept the evolutionary theory.

  • A debate between an evolutionist and a creationist that didn't nosedive into a shouting match and loops around the topic of hitler's religion and so on. I'm actually impressed. A very interesting discussion.

Though I think Ray Comfort is a nutter who is so wound up in his beliefs that he won't even try to think outside of them, I have some respect for him for actually listening and letting TF finish and replying which is more than I usually see from creationist vs. evolutionist debates

  • Wow. Made it through the whole discussion. I'm exhausted!

  • Ray appeared very uncomfortable throughout the discussion. If he were really as stupid as he sounds he wouldn't be squirming in his seat so much. He recognizes the force of Thunderf00t's arguments but can't accept them because his mind is governed by fear.

  • The only thing Ray seems to be sure of, if that, is the Bible, which we all know leads to the same old circular reasoning that creationists are famous for. But what I really admire is how Thunderfoot was able to divert the conversation away from this circular reasoning, despite Ray's persistent attempts to draw it back in. This made for a much more pleasant and interesting debate for the viewers.

  • Funny how ThinderF00t says' "Their religion is irrelevant to their discoveries". If they are irrelevant, then why are people so angered by others believing in God and eternal life and if we share it with others? if there is no God and no eternal life, yet some use it as a crutch to walk better in their eyes, don't they have a right to do that? Without persecution. Would you kick the crutch or wheelchair from under a cripple? You are doing that when you bash and mistreat someone with faith.

  • @dadldew That's fine as long as they don't constantly tell the rest of this that we also need their crutch and wheelchair.

  • @dadldew What about the countless Roman Christians who forced people to convert to Christianity because other people didn't believe in it? They killed the people who didn't convert., isn't their a right to not believe in religion too?

  • @dadldew No, you are giving false hope & thus totally misdirecting the person.. I suppose it depends on wether you find the statement "Ignorance is bliss" to be true. NOBODY can prove or disprove the existence of God that is true for certain, but I'd rather rely on science than the 2000 year old murmurings of desert semites! Humanity & Civilisation is much old than the "Biblical World", as it were - we no longer need organised religion IMO ones faith/disbelief in God should be a personal thing.

  • @dadldew I think you did not view all of the videos. Or else you would of heard the answer. It brings degeneration of the civilization. People have struggled to find things like dna, evolution, fossils etc. If we instead of teaching the base of known knowledge start spouting about creationism it will ruin the builtup of knowledge. But don't take my word for it, remember the dark ages? Yes, that was the time this very exact thing happened.

  • Compare this 30 seconds to the first few minutes of the debate. Ray clearly says, 'you don't know the answers about how it all got here, I do'

'Yet here he says 'I don't know, I'm not God.'

I wish thunderf00t called him out on more of bullshit

  • @Slanguaj in the first few minutes Ray is saying he knows "how it all got here” at the end he’s saying he doesn't know why God chose to make the world in six days and not instantaneous (snaps fingers) CLEARLY talking about two different things here.

  • I think you already paid, Ray.

  • I enjoyed listening to both of you.

  • That was pretty cool.

However ... I would've been so tempted to just stretch out and shake Cumfart' firmly by the neck not the hand.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent arguments, obviously moreso from the side backed with evidence, and I am very glad that the discussion was so wide ranging and not focused on one topic, overall a most enlightening discussion

  • I really enjoyed this, thank you so much Thunderf00t!

  • That was great Thunderf00t. I wouldn't have stayed so calm. When I ask someone a question and he answers 'because of god' I just want to start shouting at him. I admirer your patience.

  • I watched the whole thing and nothing was accomplished here. TF's arguments sounded pretty weak though for the most part.

  • @Glennman8 at least he had arguements

  • Well well, one of the best debates i have watched in a long time, ego did not get the better of either of you, Ray genuinely believed, you genuinely knew (scientific fact, not whether god exists or not, as that argument was preset to be impossible to find out.. i mean.. how do you know what happens when you're dead?), and didnt become a slugging match like i thought it may have been.

I would LOVE to see you do more debates, i love the calm and collected approach to making your point,

    Cheers.

  • Comfort just said, "I don't know" about something in the Bible, and appears to be Okay with that. But he wasn't Okay with Thunderf00t saying that we don't know how the Universe started. Double standard much?

  • I think this discussion was a bit of a damp squib. I admire Thunderf00t's tolerance and patience though. And Ray Comfort appears to be a very kind and reasonable man.

  • Very interesting and a good discussion, Comfort's arguments are incredibly weak and just rely on 'because it is in the scriptures'. Thunderf00t is basically an incredibly smart guy and has the whole thing figured out. I could not find any fault with his arguments. Comfort, whilst wrong, at least seems like a decent person and less of a maniac than some such as (but not limited to) Kent Hovind.

  • thunderfoot thought he could make ray comfort look stupid since he is mocked on youtube as the banana man, but it back fired.

  • @Gods0n1 Seriously, Thunderfoot took him in like a teacher of a third grader for 9 clips and taught him logistics. Ray either replied with god did it, or scriptire says it. These videos I have to classify as a one sided colloquium, there was no debate, as Ray gave little in way of a defendable position. Its barely a colloquium because Ray knew next to nothing about any of Thunders non-biblical arguments.

  • @skydome29 in a video response, thunderfoot admits that ray was doing this for years and that he wasnt really experienced in debating ray on his level. thunderfoot admits that he did studder alot but that was because he needed more experience.

thunderfoot basically says he gave it his best shot but wish he did better. your coming to me and saying thunderfoot out classed ray. i think ill believe thunderfoot on this one.

  • @Gods0n1 A) He said he was learning and debating a fundamentalist is part of the process. He logically trapped Ray in almost all of Ray's "arguments", does he need work? Of course. Is Ray a better debater than Thunder? No. It's stutter fyi, and Ray did nothing to outclass Thunderfoot.

  • lol @ i'm pay ok... ok :D

  • I think TF pitched it perfectly it wasn't a demolition, rather a slow but relentless dismantling of Ray Comforts idea.

  • when ray said he's paying for lunch, did he mean he was gonna pray for a free meal from god?

  • It was a little alarming when TF started talking about morality, but the stuff about science making the future brighter was great stuff.

  • Hehehe!!! Yes!! and lunch is on Comfort! Victory!

  • i would just like to say that those who disagree with ray why do you feel the need to belittle him. Religion by no means says that you can't use science and logical reason to make observations and through those means make discoveries. What it says is that god is the base for all things learning of the nature of universe is an extension of learning of the means through which god created because god did make it and the processes through which he did it can be discovered through scientific means

  • @the1qb ummmmmmm because hes batshit crazy and believes in the sky daddy?

  • @evilresidence4 He's not crazy and don't call god sky daddy. If you want unequivocal proof of god then you can have it. The problem is people aren't willing to accept god, many feel they don't need him or that god has wronged them, or they want to argue over how much proof there is. The ulimate proof of god is for you to humble yourself and truly ask jesus for forgiveness and trust in god if you do that with all your heart then i promise you, you will have your proof, and you will understand

  • @the1qb you fail... in order to disprove something it must first be proven. god has not been proven, therefore there is no evidence, therefore he doesnt exist, therefore, you are delusional, therefore, you are polluting the human race, therefore, you are slowing intellectual progress, therefore it would be doing mankind a favor if you died, therefore, you should kill yourself. or is it just too hard for your tiny theist brain to follow an idea from point A to point B?

  • @evilresidence4 You just displayed a textbook ad hominen argument against me. But to get back to the point i would like to quote a scripture Romans 1:20 - For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse, and as i said before If you open your heart, humble yourself, ask for forgiveness and turn from sin. Jesus promised he will reveal himself to you

  • @the1qb ok look... dont quote the bible. its a totally incoherent book of lies and magic that is 2000 years old and was made for primitive illiterate people.

look dude i understand the concept of love and jesus and stuff but there is no proof for god. i like the teachings of jesus but i dont like anything else in the bible.

  • @evilresidence4 There is proof you just don't want to accept it. I would concede that thunderfoot is a better debater. However, that doesn't make ray wrong evolution to me is a moot point, many creationists argue it but to me it matters not the slightest bit. The bible is not lies and there is no such thing as magic. Now you might not like some scriptures in it but that doesn't make them untrue. Any question you have can easily be answered in the bible and most ethical dilemmas jesus addressed

  • @the1qb ok but what if im a nice person my entire life do i still go to hell?

  • @evilresidence4 My friend we all fall short of the glory of god. A man cannot enter the kingdom of heaven on good works alone. If you were to never sin then you wouldn't go to hell. However, man is incapable of such a thing so god in his mercy sent jesus, who was without sin, to be a sacrifice for our sins so that god could wash us clean. Accepting jesus and turning from sin is all you need, not religion, but a relationship with jesus

  • @the1qb how do you know your not just creating a hollow character in your mind that is suppose to love everybody?

  • @evilresidence4 because i know him in the same way you know a friend and that may sound like oddity at first because i thought the same thing. I thought to myself what do they mean being born again, I had no clue what they were talking about until it happened and now i see how natural it is. Were made to have a relationship with out creator and i assure you its a wonderful thing

  • @the1qb does that mean humans are special?

if the universe is infinite in size than that surely means that aliens from other solar systems have to exist.

  • @evilresidence4 I'm sure they do, and I'm more then certain that god will give them the same gift he has given us. God never said we were the only thing he made. There would be no need for him to tell us of other planets because it doesn't change anything for us, or them. He will love them just as he loves all of creation

  • @the1qb hmm, interesting. I don't think I've ever heard a perspective from a Christian like that before. thanks man, have a good day.

  • @evilresidence4 no problem man i make sure to keep an open mind when i tell people about god

  • @the1qb well if theyre made in his image, than whatès to say of an intelligent insectoid, perhaps.

  • @skydome29 It says we were made in his image I can only theorize so much. Also, when he says in his image that can be open to interpretation. We assume it means how we look. Some however, think it means the noble and righteous characteristics we have. I however, can only speak of what the bible tells me so for all we know aliens could look like us, or when god spoke to them he said something different to them

  • @evilresidence4 That might be the funniest thing ever said on Youtube ;D

  • Rays buying lunch won't soften Thunderfoot. lol

  • Thunderf00t went about the debate in the wrong way I think. You can explain the process and logic of it until you're blue in the face and someone like bananaman will tune it out. It wasn't until Thunderf00t pressed him on his own logic (starting at pedophilia) that he started gaining any ground. Their weakness is in their own irrational argument. Make him start following his poor reasoning to its illogical conclusion and he'll start stammering over his words and change the subject.

  • @ThePhantomBlacksmith Yeah i think he realized it and later on he started really gunning for the guy.

  • This wasn't really a fair debate; I think Ray Comfort is pretty close to being clinically retarded and I would feel sorry for him if he wasn't completely oblivious to reality.

  • Ray was certainly being nice offering to pay for lunch but would anyone else who watched the whole debate not liked to have seen Thunderfoot stand up, thank Ray for coming then say to him "I am going to be the envy of many an atheist....." and proceed to slap the moustache off him? Just a thought.

  • @krishall001

although there would be humor in that, that is not proper procedure for a debate.

Now if ray comfort broke into one of his patented fits of insanity...

  • "ehh okay" LOL

Ray Comfort seems like a nice guy and I did feel sorry for him over the course of the interview because he was nowhere near as prepared as thunderf00t!

  • this video debate was good, i wish it continued for longer.

  • Hmmm....

Talk with a childish, delusional creationist

Get a free lunch after the debate

    ....

    ....

Hmmm.. For a free meal.. I'd do it =^_^=

  • I like Ray :) At last two people are able to sit down and have an intelligent conversation without shouting and yelling and fussing and whatnot. :\ i thoroughly enjoyed this. could do without all the disrespectful comments in the comment section however. but.. just shows what kind of people are on the internet :(
