The government have been so busy interfering with peoples lives that they have not been doing the job they are paid for.
They are supposed to look after the economy = Fail. Law and order, the Police do not close down crack houses thats why so many young people get stabbed. 20% of people leave state schools functionally illiterate.
But all the government seem to care about is whether there is small smokers room in some Pubs. Talk about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
why,..oh why ..have we got in to this state, ..and why have most of our politicians lost the courage to stand up and say " NO " to the dreaded EU,..the only way to take back our democracy and country is to vote " UKIP " in the coming european elections,...we have been deceived for too long over the EU now it is time to all put our votes where our voices are and start to get britain out, then we can have a prime minister of britain,....instead of a prime puppet of europe,..... get scotland out
The EU ban on smoking in bars (other than their own in Brussels & Strasbourg) is cynical.
European citizens are not prepared to give up their autonomy only to be told how to live their lives by a small group of un-elected,unacountable,over-paid and permanent `commissioners´
`Of course there will be transfers of sovereignty. But would I be intelligent to draw the attention of public opinion to this fact ?´ (Jean-Claude Juncker,3 July 07).

The bartender is kind of a doofus..Drinking at home in an "uncontrolled environment" is bad? They "regulate" how much someone is allowed to drink? Well, that's socialism for ya I suppose. Idiotic and self-serving. I'm all for "saving Englands pubs" but that was kinda silly.
What's funny is that here in Italy, British and Irish pub are becoming extremely popular. They're bankrupting our traditional pizzerias. Strange phenomenon globalization, isn't it?
excellent vid - theres an attack on pubs because as they look to destroy the middle classes they want people sitting at home on their own rather than grouping together in pubs where they can come togheter and unite against the tyranny
*Sigh* Similar issues here in the States. Of course, bars ("pub" in the American vernacular) are not as big of social institutions like they are for our friends across the pond, but we can definitely empathize with these same issues.
Who is in the best position to "know" what's best: the individual for whom the decision has actual effects or some government bureaucrat sitting in his ivory tower? It's high time the people respond with the ultimate weapon: their votes!

I am going to vote for one of the three following parties:
Lib-Dems (to break the parliamentary stronghold between Lab & Con);
UK Independance Party (to minimise immigration & fight against European Union); or
British National Party (to preserve British heritage, and culture against religous extremists).
Let's make both labour and conservative parties EXTINCT

1. He is the landlord and knows alot more about pubs then you..
2. Obviously the uncontrolled environment he is talking about is people drinking 20 cans of special brew then come out and cause all kinds of trouble.
3. What kind of a moron uses the word doofus are you even old enough to drink?

Love the vid. It's a lot more enjoyable drinking booze in a pub with its pictures and odd shiny things and flashing lights.
