  • Ouah, WTH is it??? So beautiful, wonderful, love the flow. Classe classe!!! Congratulation. Now I've some gooseflesh.

  • Where is the 'love' button?

  • PERFEECT!! ♥

  • THIS IS FUCKING FANTASTIC

  • do you have a transcripton for this? when you write Dm A for example do you mean Dminor chord with the A in bass or Dminor chord then A major chord.... it is just that you really rock playing this jam....wish to learn it like you played it. If you can help write me : Dantwane@aol.com . again...this rocks like no other!!!

    Antwane

  • @vampireloverman

Nope, no transcription... just making it up as I go along. Dm with D in the bass, and A7 with an A in the bass is (I think) what I meant.

  • This is a fantastic video. I'm currently learning piano - I'm on grade 3 (UK), and this just makes me want to learn more and sooner.

  • luv it, only way to hear that song.

  • Que buena versión!!!!!

  • oh my.... please join a band and start recording, i 'll buy your music!

  • Man, this is actually the best and catchiest piano playing I have seen! I am playing Saint James Infirmary at a concert coming up, but there is no way I could reach those rolled chords! I don't have big enough hands ;D

  • It's like every single finger is getting its own solo.

  • No comment ! That is AMAZING ! BEAUTIFUL ! WoW

  • Real Pure man!!!

  • MOST EXCELLENT!!!!

  • You are a very blues man!!

  • This is amazing! is the left hand just playing the base note of the chord then the chord? Also, whats the scale the left hand is playing in? or roughly based on :P

  • @MrCry1ngReaper

Yes, mostly it's the roots and fifths + chords in the left hand, with occasional other notes. Not really sure of what scales are going on.... lots of d-minor, I guess.

  • dude if that truly is 'just made up' you gotta related to jelly roll morton. absolutely amazing

  • why are some of the keys blocked out how old is that piano? More importantly where did u find it it looks great.

  • @Caseysblues22

They are not blocked, they are just not painted.

  • @Caseysblues22

It's Canadian and probably made in the early 20th Century. The keytops are falling off, exposing the wood underneath.

  • @Caseysblues22 i've got 2 mason risch's to get rid of

  • damn dude.....A--M--A--Z--I--N--G! Btw: the piano sounds great. Some kind of Wild-West-Saloon-Hammer-Piano xD

  • Very very cool. Great job man!

  • I can play St James Infirmary, but not as good as this, probably I need a special piano like yours, one with lots of brown keys.

  • I am speechless. This is one of my favorite songs ever and you make it sound exactly the way it has to sound, in my opinion. I love your style. The sound of the piano is awesome! How long did it take you, til you could play like this?

  • dude.... teach me

  • Fucking awsome!

  • It´s soooooo fantastic, Ihave never listened to such a good pianist

  • awesome. awesome.

  • I'm sorry if this comes off wrong, but man did you gave me an orgasm D:

Yes, i'm creepy and all, but FUCKING AMAZING, and i don't mean the overused meaning, i truly mean UNBELIEVABLE.

  • dude.... awsomeeee

  • very cool, full of energy, fun and soul

  • Thanks! No sheet music, I'm afraid -- I just made it up.

The chords to the tune St James Infirmary are

    | Dm A | Dm A | Dm E(dim7) | A | Dm A | Dm G7 (or F7) | Bb7 A7 | Dm A |

  • Amazing... I love the type of piano you play on as well.

  • Aiight, two more words: Good. Grief.

    Man, that is just fantastic.

  • you got the blues inside your blood, man

    ur awesome

  • man i am in awe!! you're amazing!

  • where did u get the notes? I really like the way u play, lots of rythnm and very good Finderstyle

  • How did you learn to play so well...jeez. I like every single one of your videos. Impeccable timing and love the blues.

Did you start by learning basic chords/progressions etc. first?

  • Great playing, just be careful not to get any wood splinters from that piano!
