  • Hey Bob!

Do you mind telling me what kind of watercolour paint you use? My grandpapa bought me this average looking water colour paint from "Stevenson's" -this one doesn't seem to have the same effect as yours. You are able to achieve those dark rich greens. I don't have a full range of opacity for mine :( What brand do you use?

  • Hi Bob, I'm so glad I ran into your videos I love your style of teaching lol "that parts getting light and that part AINT!" You got yaself a new subscriber ;-)

  • great video bob, very helpful, even when i'mdrunk!!

  • Hi Bob. I've watched all your tree painting videos and loved them. You make it look so easy! Very inspiring. Now I'm definitely not the artist you are but for your foregrounds I think you should also try painting wild flowers or mushrooms something instead of the shadows of imaginary trees. Maybe you've already painting something with wildflowers in the foreground; I'd love to see a video of it, that's for sure!

  • what brand paints do you use?

    thanks

  • why do all of you paintings look the same -_-

  • Bob, thanks for your very generous sharing! I'm getting much more from your tutorials than from my college art classes. And your website is excellent. Looking forward to receiving your newsletter.

  • awsome could u give a couple of tips to use the watercolour pensils,

  • Hi Carlos.

Watercolor pencils are different from watercolor paints. You can use them like ordinary colored pencils and leave it at that.

Or, if you drag clean water with a brush over what you've drawn, it spreads the color.

Or you can scribble some color onto scrap paper and use your wet brush to pick this up as 'paint'.

Try all 3 techniques to see which works best for you.

    Cheers

    Bob

  • Hi there.

the 'Post comment box won't let me put an e-mail addresson. However, if you go to any of the 'painting trees' vids, you'll see my website address on there at the start and finish. Go to the site and look up the 'contact' page.
