how you control kelvin 2700 in AF100? i have 7D, i know how to control, but my AF101 hasn't that function or i don't know where is it and how to control it, please explain me or show me where is that function - kelvins control....
Start moving your subject around and see which cam follows a moving target better - hands down the real video camera. Thats what I love about the footage you get from DSLR shooters - the frame never moves much. As soon as it does, especially at faster motion, it exposes the weakness of the DSLR's.
I agree with the comments below, you really cant legitimately hold a side-by-side comparison between two cameras unless you use the exact same lens for both cameras, especially because each lens truly captures an image slightly differently, in regards to color etc.. Also an F2 on a 25 will always give you a greater depth of field than an F2 on a 50, longer lens = shallower depth of field, sorry if thats a little obvious. It is nice to see that people are comparing these two cameras. Great Job!
Good video....i have AF101, but i don't know where to change kelvin WB step by step 2700..2800..2900..4000...9000.. and so on, can you show me the direction?
The huge difference in lens size makes this test irrelevant. For the shallow depth of field is favoring the 5D. The only thing people should focus on this video is colors and saturation.
@artperezproductions the AF-100 has a crop factor of 2x. The focal lengths that are recorded on both are 50mm. The 5D is much shallower because its sensor size is much much larger then the Panasonic's.
Nice comparison. Looking forward to seeing more from your series. I'm pleasantly surprised you were able to get the colors to match. Did you have the skin detail on? Looks like you'd probably need to shoot with that .95 fstop 25mm lens for the bokeh to match at this focal length.
No one can beat Canon 5 d mk2 if it some how can focus and get better microphone.

Why test 50mm Vs 25mm!!! Such a waste of time.

@madshy Because of the difference in chip size they give the same field of view......

Much sharper and more detailed on the AF100. On the 5D her skin tones are washed out.

How come you didn't shoot 1 for 1 as to make this comparison relevant to each other?
