Praise Jesus I used to be an atheist until I called out to GOD to save me, and now he speaks to me inside my Soul. Because I accepted Christ, I was fired from my medical research job when God showed me I no longer need to test hypothesis or calibrate tools to find the data in my research. I became twice as productive at work and saved my department tons of money. Still I got Terminated because I love Jesus.

Not sure who is bashing mormons but if you think people are bashing your religion because they say Joseph Smith was a liar then I guess you would say I bash too. Also why do you say its your gospel? Jesus Christ is the only way, truth, and the life and the book of mormon contradicts the Bible. Joseph Smith has no place in Christianity except for the fact that he too was a sinful man just like the rest of us and needs the grace of God in Christ Jesus just like the rest of us. I know that the mormon church exalts Joseph Smith and believes what he taught and his teachings do not line up with the bible 100 percent. The nephites traveled to america and why would God keep them from the truth? it just doesn't make sense. Revelation 22:18 I am telling everyone who hears the words that are written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written in this book, God will add to him the kinds of trouble that this book tells about. I would say this is all the proof we need. Everything we need to study is in the Bible, it reveals His character and Jesus is all we need.

Looking outside of an lds perspcetive this makes a lot of sense to me since the original manuscripts of the bible had been corrupted or lost. And i even believe there are plenty of unknown scripture out there that contains Christs gospel- (lost tribes of israel).

In fact The book of Revelation was written approx. 20 years before the gospel of John was written Biblical scholars have even said so. In fact if you read Isaiah 29: 11-12 and 18 it talks about a sealed book that will come forth and taken to a learned man who cant read it but the unlearned man can that is the story of the Book of Mormon

I think you'll find in time the closer you feel to your religion the more you'll disrespect it after you find out that it isn't true after time and research. I loved the church when I was in it, but the greatest decision of my life was to part ways with it.

Jesus said, "the name (singular in Greek) of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." Just as Isaiah 6:3 declares, "Holy, Holy, Holy, the LORD of Hosts." Jehovah is indeed thrice holy. The Scripture declares again and again that Isaiah 45:5 "I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me." Ignoring this TRUTH will have terrible consequences.

If Jesus can just die and come back to life again, it's not much of a sacrifice is it? It's hard to be grateful for a sacrifice that isn't *really* a sacrifice.

Christianity is completely HORRIBLE. I don't see how anyone can look at the wonder of a beautiful innocent baby and see imperfection and sin. How can anyone can look a child in the eyes and tell them that they have to believe in an invisible god that they've never seen, and pray to a man the've never met who was murdered horrifically some 2,000 years ago, and if that child does not believe these things unquestionably, they will burn...in hellfire...far from god...for eternity?!? @weetoable Great point you made. I use science, reason and observation to determine what I believe to be true. In your example, my proof is in records that have been verified by independent trustworthy sources that tell me about my recent ancestors. You have faith, which is believing without proof. Trust is based on reliability. I trust scientists who are deemed reliable over and over. If any source of knowledge is found to have serious fault, like the bible, I believe we have to reject it.

Revelation 22:18 I am telling everyone who hears the words that are written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written in this book, God will add to him the kinds of trouble that this book tells about. I would say this is all the proof we need. Everything we need to study is in the Bible, it reveals His character and Jesus is all we need.

Looking outside of an lds perspcetive this makes a lot of sense to me since the original manuscripts of the bible had been corrupted or lost. And i even believe there are plenty of unknown scripture out there that contains Christs gospel- (lost tribes of israel).

In fact The book of Revelation was written approx. 20 years before the gospel of John was written Biblical scholars have even said so. In your example, my proof is in records that have been verified by independent trustworthy sources that tell me about my recent ancestors. You have faith, which is believing without proof. Trust is based on reliability. I trust scientists who are deemed reliable over and over. If any source of knowledge is found to have serious fault, like the bible, I believe we have to reject it.

@GodSwallowsCum no you are right. There are tons of different versions of the bible because so many people have tampered with it. We go by the King James version and have joseph smith translations to help better translate it. One of the articles of faith we go by says "we believe the bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated CORRECTLY, wel also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God." there is a god man there is no denying it for me anymore. you'll find out someday
