  • I did some nude photos of 2 women--and now I realize I should have warmed them up because I remember them being uncomfortable--but only in hindsight.

  • amazing idea, I will try it for sure, thx Michael!

  • Fantsatic work, yoe are a true master!

  • What camera and lens are you using? Thanks!

  • I always enjoy your videos. Very detailed info and not to mention very entertaning. I had someone approach me about some nude photos and I think this would be a great way to start the session.

  • What kind of silk fabric is that and where can I get that at. Thanks for the idea!!!

  • I just discovered your channel today Michael and it's awesome..In this tutorial can i ask you why you chose to put it on Daylight white balance instead of flash?...And i assume you shoot RAW so doesn't really matter cause you can fix it in LR3 yeah?

  • Love the idea "embryo" :) Great Video !

  • Dear Micheal

what particular lens type used for this type of photography?

  • nice video .thanks teacher

  • Wie immer outstanding! Great work!

  • Dude I love your tutorials and your life

  • Hi Michael, Looks like I have caught the bug and am now addicted to your videos. You have ignited the creative side of me which has being laying dormant for the past few months.. Great Stuff..

  • Great advice and techniques. Thank you!

  • They don't look very good upsidedown

  • Damn your stuff is sexy! Very well produced, presented and edited.

Keep up the good work. Any tips on getting my wife to let me use models like this?

  • Wonderful idea once again

  • Michael.. Thank you very much. Your videos are pretty educational. Good light ;)

  • Another fantastic video! Thanks! And, you have the HOTTEST cousins on the planet!

  • Once again, awesome work and thank you for sharing :)

  • Michael can you do more videos on one light setup situations? Thanx

  • Hallo Michael, gibts deine Video auch im Deutsch?

  • Hello Michael, I'm a big fan of all your work. Always look forward to Thursdays now.

Question, is the 28-300 mm lens pretty much your main shooting lens?

Also, would it make a big difference if you would set white balance on Flash?

Do you ever just set a true white balance for each shoot?

And lastly, do you touch up the photos in Pshop or Light room to enhance the effects?

Thanks for sharing your art and knowledge.

    Good Light from Florida :)

  • a vent it would also be great for this shots.

  • Fantastic

  • HAHA! love it..."an embryo with boobs"

  • Thanks so much for this tip, cousin. Keep the good light coming!

  • i love michael's video, watched all of them, hope to see more exciting tips. keep it up!

  • Hi cousin Micheal. If you have one flash, can you trigger it of camera? or do you need two flashes for that? thanks.

  • Looks like a naked ghost.

  • hey michael I see that you camera have a battery pack it means that is a commercial eerie whit a good lens what camera do you use and what its the similar in nikon

  • @hanzeln The battery grip is totally optional. You really don't need it. On the Nikon side the D700 would be a good match in my opinion.

  • Great videos I got asked to do a boudoir shoot, I need all the info I can get!

  • @bpmuzik808 Bring a sample of poses to you shoot and have one or two lighting setups tested upfront. With that preparation the shoot will run smoothly. Have fun

  • Another great video Michael.

  • @spstudios01 Thank you!

  • Cool video, subbed.

  • @BetterImageFoto Thank you!

  • Great! Again! You should make a video on how to get all those beautiful cousins to make such beautiful shots :-)

  • @mariokluser Hahaha, yes, why not.

  • Going to try this! Your videos are great...

  • @TheKGB Yes, please try it. If you like, please post the results to my facebook page. I'm curious what other photographers make out of it.

  • @FreePhotographyTips - I LIKED your Facebook page. Have a great model coming this next week. I will post my results!

Always wanted to visit Germany! Its on my list of things to so here real soon...

  • hello michael, how to you configure light room to preview you shot? i have a d70s USB configured in PTP, and light room 3.5, i cant seem to make it work

    thanks

  • @jbx907 File>Tethered capture> Start tethered capture works fine for me. Lightroom is a bit slower for tethered capture than Canon's software, however, I edit my first photo and tell Lightroom to set those edits to apply to all the photos I take after that. So by the end of the shoot I only have minor details (if any) to edit.

  • @jgvfgc thanks sir, give it a try

  • @jbx907 Thank you for watching!

  • @jgvfgc i tried it, it doesn't recognize my nikon D70s with PTPusb fuction, i think this is only good for mac, im using a pc windows 7 x64 and tethering seems not to recognize my camera!

  • @jbx907 I use windows 7 x64 as well, but I should have read your first comment closer. I use a newer Canon. You are having trouble because the D70s is not supported in LR3 for tethered shooting. You can view a list of supported cameras in Adobe's support. You can use Nikon's software, DIYPhotobits Camera Control, or Loligo tether as an alternative for tethered shooting. Also Photogeek has a good article on tethered shooting with a D70s.

  • @jgvfgc thank you

  • @jbx907 If your cam is not supported then you can use proprietary software to transfer photos into a folder and use the autoimport feature of lightroom to show the preview. That's how I do it when I do tether via Wifi instead of USB. Works stable with any cam.

  • @FreePhotographyTips thank you michael

  • WOW..awesome!! I want to steal this michael! lol...damn what a great idea

  • @rezjrprod yes, please go ahead and steal it! Welcome!

  • Amazing.

  • @Ginofreelancephoto Thank you!

  • Young cousin Michael, I watch all your videos and they're great. I'm just an amateur and I am learning loads from your videos. Look forward to next weeks vid'. I wish you good light!

  • @lilcossie Thanks. I'm just an amateur, too :-)

  • hello micheal I just recently found your vids and am so glad I did you are my new favorite photographer you are shooting the exact kind of photos I want to be doing and the simple yet highly effective lighting setups are perfect for my budget... I do have a question about this set up though is the flash on your camera firing as well and if so what settings? thank you so much for sharing your awesome setups and tips!

  • @rawkstar47 The on camera flash is just to trigger the slave. It does not contribute to the lighting.

  • I always get great ideas/tips from your videos--Bob

  • @rjtaylor1241 I am very glad I can help, cousin Bob.

  • YES I will be doing this shoot this weekend. I love it. Micheal , The speedlite on the camera what was it set to? I know you are using it to trigger the speedlite behind the model. Thanks and Good Light. ;-)

  • @Photographybyjay The on camera flash is set to master only. It fires to trigger the slave but it does not contribute to the exposure of the photos.

  • Thanks again I would probably never get to shoot nude models but this is a fantastic Idea. Look forward to your next Tip

  • @Memories4lifemedia Why not? It's fun. Try it!

  • Great work! Thank you Michael! :)

  • @GraphicCoconut thanks a lot

  • Very erotic and still very subtle. Thanks for the great tip.
