SC Meet n greet! & My Plastic Surgeon has a Channel now!

I was re-watching your videos regarding your tummy tuck and if your still highly recommend your plastic surgeon Dr Suber. I have reached my goal more than 7 months ago. Turns out I had a tumor the size of a 50lb. Basketball that has stretched my skin beyond any exercise and am looking into well qualified and highly recommended reconstruction plastic surgeons like Dr Suber. I don't live in N.C. but am willing to travel for the right Dr. Past experience from regular drs have not be good. Thk. lol

ur hair looks pretty thin has it grown back yet? ive lost some of my hair after extreme weight loss (didnt have surgery, just extreme dieting, basically depriving myself). my hair has gotten thin from losing 60 lbs in 8 months.

random question... When you first started eating way fewer calories after you had GBP did you have headaches? If yes, do you think it was do to what little calories you consumed? or perhaps stress due to the fact that food could not be used to numb anymore?

No headaches, but I was dizzy and weak at times, but if I ate a piece of cheese I got better right away. The low calorie count probably is attributed to that

Just seeing your enthusiasm and energy drives me to no end.Tomorrow is the big day. Day 1: The gastric bypass surgery day. So excited nervous and scared all at once. If I can walk out of this with even half the energy I see in your face I will consider myself blessed. The beginning can make you feel weak, but you do get stronger and energy really does go up as the weight comes off

hey Amelia, I know this is kind of out of the blue... but.. uhh... how is your Iron? I don't know if it's the lighting or if you are just looking really pale because of the time of year.. but I've seen a lot of iron deficiency lately so that was the first thing that popped in my head when you look so pale! Not pale in a bad way.. I better stop talking before I stick my foot in my mouth even worse~~

Well in my defense I have been indoors for over a month because of the tummy tuck, but I just started taking iron so maybe it will get better

I am SO going to sub to his channel! I loved meeting him, and I will come to see him as a pt as soon as I can arrange it. I can't do any surgery for at least 6 mos because of a work internship, but I can at least get the process started.

Great meeting you Amelia. Dr. Suber was great. Heck I'd be interested in traveling down to have him work on me! It was refreshing to see a PS willing to work and help with using insurance for most of surgery costs. Glad he stopped over to see us! Tom
