Martin is doing the first chorus. He's pretty much the only one in the band who can sing that high, and that is not at all Paul's (the guy on the right) voice. As said in previous comments, you can tell that in the RBTL that it's Martin singing. :)

In their original music video they have either tuned it down to a C or they have tuned it to a open D.

the same but twice as high, and you will need special strings for that if you want them to 'survive' :)

its martin who is going at the high pitches...the only singer in their band who can also go high high pitched by YELLING his lungs out is their bass player...check out "On Top of the World" the RBTL version...VERY amazing back up singing aside from the lead vocalist martin...

paul sings the first chorus. on the 2nd chorus, paul sings till 2:51. then backed up for the rest of the song.

at 1:40, "your eyes" was definitely sung by paul. (1st chorus)

at 2:38, "your voice" was still sung by paul. (2nd chorus)

then, at 2:51, "your eyes" was sung by martin. (2nd chorus)

martin sung the rest of the song.

well its obviously martin singing the chorus, cause in the second verse he still has his voice like that. But paul is still good, hes got a soft mellow voice that makes it flow nice and smooth without sounding like too much lol.
