a plan to avoid a potential dollar run is twofold. One situation would were the goverment would put price controls on food and ration other items, or they would rise intrest rates, and take a default on it's bond rating. the latter is what our country needs to do.

Now we have Obama trying to pass "cap and trade" and spend the dollar into oblivion.

this whole publicly traded idea just moves money from one capitalist to the other and makes people richer or poorer in the process it actually serves no purpose. Similar o digging holes and refilling them. Venture capital can be obtained in many ways and that is ALL this system was intended to do..

crude is too volatile we are hurting other countries who are big exporters of oil who don't want to fund our wars. CNBC are trying to discredit commodities but the wise are getting into them like india. There is no contingency they are delaying the inevitable. this is all artificial nothing is backing the dollar because of all the derivative chaos.
