  • Captured a moment in time. I bet kids graduating from college today can't quite have experiences like this. First of all there are probably no Trumans in the world today...

  • one of my fave films... what a terrific tribute... very cool, man... great job... thanks so much for sharing this :)

  • my all time favourate film! i love it. the music is so superb. great site. thank you for posting. mike, from liverpool england.

  • @tk848 thank you very much for the response and the GREAT news !!! I have had a quick recce of the UF site and it is INCREDIBLE !!! I thought, THOUGHT I was a fan HOWEVER I had NO idea about those deleted scenes !!! WOW !!! I'm gonna start saving up RIGHT NOW (in this economy, i'll need to !!) and I gotta go now but i'll be back on the UF site and here for sure. Thank-you again for taking the time to respond, I really appreciate it bud. Feel free to holler at me ANY time you are a legend !

  • If there ARE any more events or the like PLEASE contact me ...

    gojiramonkey@hotmail.co.uk Thanks !!!

  • @gojiramonkey Yes! We are planning another trip for July 2013. Come to the website at ultimatefandango dot c om.

  • I am ashamed to say that it NEVER occured to dumb ol' gojiramonkey to seek out the locations ...OK there ARE across the sea but..NO EXCUSE...this IS Fandango, after all...Is there a Fan Club or such like, cos I am IN !!! I remember the Repo Man director Alex Cox talking about Rumblefish (another great) and he said something like "When the bomb goes off and the survivors are living in a cave , this is the type of film that will forever be played on walls ..." Sums up Fandango perfectly...

  • I am from the UK and it has been one of my ALL TIME favourite films since the late 80's/early 90's and a battered VHS copy off the TV was all I has until about a year ago when I found a UK region compatible copy on the internet so I bought two !! I have lost count of the amount of times me and my friends have watched it...Just tremendous...from the brilliant opening credits ( LOVE that spider !!) to the toast silhouette TOTAL QUALITY !!! WHY it has never had a UK release BEGGARS BELIEF !!!

  • I've seen this movie at least 40 times since 1985 with my best friend, who was Gardner and I was Phil...... at 43 this movie exemplifies the life I had, always wanted and still long for.......

  • My father and I went on a road trip to all of the sites in this movie. It was so fun! Now, the train scene, where it is on the website... Is actually wrong. :3 There's a dip, about half a mile down from the spot where everyone thinks it's at. My father and I found wire and hunks of plaster-concrete stuff from the Mclain Massacre sign. There is also a rock that's in the movie... :D It was so fun, we are doing it again this year.

  • @BBAlover1997 You should come to our message board at the website. I don't think anyone has mentioned the location you're talking about.

  • @tk848 Actually I think my dad has said something on the site.... Either that or he's being a jerk and keeping it to himself :3 But i'll let him know he should get it out there. :)

  • One of the greatest movies off all time. RIP Allan.

  • I graduated from UT at the end of that summer. Anybody out there at the LBJ Library dedication protest on May 22nd? Aloha from Kauai.

  • Austin Texas - May 15, 1971, at :30 seconds.......would be 40 years this year

Hmm, I smell a Alamo Drafthouse screening with Pizza or a Roadshow screening. Lone Star Bottles, 3 Chili Dogs and a Malt.

and win ... a bottle of Dom.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Suprised so many of the structures are still standing.Loved this film in 85 when I was in college." Got to roam, got to birddog it.Got to keep jumping females and fences and if you'll all just come with me you'll see"

  • Truman was in the air chase over Tulsa, Oklahoma. (it was supposed to be Dallas).

  • Check out pics of these locations and many other cool ones on the web at silverscreensites (dot c o m)

  • Finally got my wife to watch it with me. She loved it! Now I need to convince her to take the trip down their path.

  • This is my favorite ever movie I have watched it over 30 times. I live 5 miles from San Elizario (the church scene) and have never visited it. Am I a sinner?

  • Simply brilliant. Sad music though.

    Abs!

  • I would love to come, if i wasn't living in Australia!

  • Awesome post.

  • I watched this movie about 10 times when it first hit HBO. I finally talked my sister into watching too and at the end she says "that was the dumbest movie I've ever seen". Go figure...

  • @scogrig Yeah this movie definitely appeals more to guys than women.

  • @scogrig

I watched this movie a long time ago. I never forgot it. I have just watched this video and it brought tears in my eyes. I love Fandango though it make me blue.

    It's a wonderfull movie.

PS: I don't agree it movie appeals more o guys. Absolutly not!

  • @scogrig Jajajaja my wife fall asleep, but i looove the movie, there is no movie on earth that make me feal like this one make me feal!

  • I liked this film the first time I saw it (mid nineties). Great story, cast and music. I am always recommending it and suggesting it to people. No one knows about it! Now I find this here on youtube. Amazing! How was the fandango in July? Have you posted pics or vids yet? Let me know!

  • What happened to that car? Is it still around?

  • @joopio There were at least 5 Cadillacs used in this movie. Hard to say whatever happened to them.

  • OH MAN I am very sad that I am in Europe and so far from the USA otherwise i would've joined you for sure!

Fandango is a film that touch your heart in many many ways. There is only one film -for me personally- that comes close to this GEM and that is Coup de Ville more or less from the same era. Thank you sssso much for posting this. 8.49 sitting at the screen with a big smile. Life is still good :-)

  • That's cool, man. For years-this movie was my favorite. Thanks for plotting the locations. I actually live in Austin, so if I ever a grow a wild hair...

  • Anybody have the scene where they are at that old bar(cantina) talking about how Kev Costners character wont sign up.. "It odont all change..."

  • Love it!

  • Awesome movie that it is under-rated. Most people I know never heard of it, but I always show it to them and they LOVE it. The scene at the Pecos Parachute School has to be one of the best of all time. This movie is something everyone can relate to. Either leaving home for the military or going to college or just moving out of your house and being by yourself with your friends. The "privileges of youth" are somethings taken granted of and are all too soon gone.

  • It is sees for the first time at the age of 16, and 39-year-old Japanese now.

It is my important most favorite movie.

Thank you for virtually experiencing my dream travel.

Thank you for a wonderful wonderful site.

  • Visited an old friend's house after 3.5 years in Japan (around '86), and his father had the TV on in the background. Just caught the last few lines in the film where Dorman says, "Have a nice life" in front of the white church. Something about that scene stuck, and tracked down the VHS of the movie many years later. Yes, there is something special about this film which lingers in the memory.

  • I am going to see Fandango for the first time tomorrow It looks a treat!

  • 1985 was a great college year for me, my only regret is not seeing Fandango until seven years later. Special movie indeed, an all time favorite.

  • This movie changed the way I looked at things back then... It's hard to find other people who have seen it and that's just wrong. I need to watch it again. Soon.

  • yeah this is one of the best movies ever made and highly underrated

  • Underrated to the utmost. Maybe one has to be in a particular emotional place. Maybe you've gotta know in your heart before the movie starts what' it's made of i.e. loss, and and friendship, and memories you can almost taste again. I'm not one of those people wishing I could do it again 'cause, good or bad, I enjoyed the southern- fried crap outta my life. If God asked me, I'd say 'Here's to US and what we were and what we will be.......A-man.

  • @ssm3141 I always get a tear in my eye when he raises his beer to his friends there at the end. It reminds me of my youth, the fun, and the eventual end of it all. You truly are only young once. Now, let's go see the Donkey Lady!!! :D

  • Oh YES, to the Donkey Lady first, last n' ALWAYS!!! And a shout out to Arthur Anderson( IN DALLAS), a REAL big accounting firm in Dallas once upon a time( if it ain't still there. ) My gosh, the raising of the beer is so symbolic but by the time I get there, I've already cried a river and blown a kiss to every creep I couldn't stand simply because he/she was ' there' when we made our marks,. Only once around the park but OH LORD, baby, what a ride. What a dawg-gone ride...

  • We're going to the filming locations again in July 2010!! Chuck Bush will be joining us for the trip! If you want to join us come to the messageboard at the link in the description.

  • Are you KIDDING?! I would LOVE to go!!! It's been a while since I made a pilgrimage!!! Will it round off with a screening of the movie? MAN! Now THIS is a reason to start that Jenny Craig I got stashed in the freezer! Where's the messageboard, though? I get stupid when I get excited!!!!

  • Yes it will end with a screening of the movie, possibly at a drive-in. Click on the link in my description and there's a link to the board right in the middle of the main page.

  • @ssm3141 Arthur Anderson was dissolved after it was implicated in the Enron financial meltdown and bankruptcy, so it is no longer in Dallas or anywhere else.

  • @thewholeeventhorizon

    I agree completly!!!

  • @thewholeeventhorizon

    I agree completly!!!

  • that was great son good job it is one of my favs

  • Fandango is one of the best directorial debuts in the history of cinema. I saw Fandango five times at the movie theater and it only playd for a fucking week, all right? - Quentin Tarantino

  • Indeed, Mr. Knox. Indeed.

  • Awesome job. This movie - especially the end - absolutely kills me. I attended UT in the early 90's, went on a similar road trip, and, just like Costner's character, screwed up the love of my life by being immature. Additionally, I've lost track of many of my best friends in much the same way the movie ends.

That's the thing about youth and friendship. You rarely know the last moment that a good friend will disappear forever.

  • @knoxtnhorn I couldn't have said it better . . . this movie still floors me . . . I still get teary eyed at the end . . . right when Dorman and Philip clasp hands . . . damn . . . just too damned real . . .

  • I see we're of the same cloth, Jubjub. There's maybe not a more touching film segment as the Dorman and Philip moment along with the dance. It kills me too to remember how much life is so full of 'See Ya Laters'.

  • Yes . . . That scene always stirs up a flood of emotions and memories . . all those many "good-byes" that at the time seemed so matter-of-fact . . 'cause we knew we would see each other again soon . . . "Yet knowing how way leads on to way . . ." I didn't understand this back then . . . But I think the most painful aspect of this scene for me . . . of the entire film actually . . is the realization of the loss of youth . . . I have not yet made peace with getting older . . . maybe in time

  • Absolutely. I look in the mirror and I'm me. I'm still me in my mind, twenty years old, but my mother, who was so slim and chic when I was a child, is now shorter, rounder, grayer , has kidney problems and can't hear too well. And I've had a heart operation myself. Life, long or short, certainly is what it is. The dance at the end of Fandango is how I see my children in a few years when it's their turn to go out there. God be with them and with us, Jubjub.

  • Thank you.

  • I grew up in Dallas, went to school at SWTSU, canoed in Big Bend, and skydived with my first jump having a faulty parachut. All before 78. To bad my life was not as cool as the movie. They could have not done a better job capturing the feelings of Texas in the 70's! Here's to DOM!

  • I had never heard of this movie until today when I discovered it via Pat Metheny Youtube videos for "It's For You". I'm in my early 40's and this takes me back to my younger, simpler days. I really enjoyed your montage of places in West Texas from the movie. I'll have to rent it sometime.

  • Jeff . . . this is a movie to OWN . . . I never get tired of watching it . . .

  • Yes, I went to the website and even put myself on the list as THE SIXTH GROOVER. You can tell I don't get out much, huh?! Actually, I may have to work in July. It would be different if I wasn't the only one doing what I do in the way that I do it. I can't promise anybody anything to be ME for a minute while I go enjoy myself being me. I may be able to say I broke my toe in fifteen places or something crazy. They'll believe it coming from me.

  • There are probably a lot of people who have never seen or even heard of this film. I own it and love it a ton. It's so random and wonderful and funny. The skydiving scene is priceless but being a huge Kevin Costner fan, my fave scene is the dance with the new bride at the end. I would DIE to have a special dance like that with Kevin... back then or even today! :-)

  • This was one of my favorite movies as well Loved when they tied the caddy to the train lol

  • W O W very nice!! takes me back to that time with friends and my girlfriend and how I felt..( back in time) how I miss it but had a good time.. thanks for such a great tribute !!

  • One of my all time favorites as well. I quote lines from the movie all the time. "Y'all drink beer? Well, yes, on occasion." And one of my personal favorites, "Can't let a small thing like this ruin a damn pilgrimage!" What shocks me the most is that Steven Spielberg was completely disappointed in the film (made by his production company, Amblin). I have nothing but respect for the guy but how can he not see the true genius in this movie? It's an absolute classic, and Costner nailed it.

  • Back here in the dirty east coast where I live now, makes me miss these wide open spaces. I used to ride my motorcycle on these lonely roads in Nebraska ans central Oklahoma. I just loved a Sunday afternoon ride. It was my second year in the Air Force,1985 when this movie was out and like you said not too many people saw it. Critics nastily panned this movie, They did'nt even like Pat Metheneys guitar music, I just didn't get it. It was a fantastic independent movie.

  • I don't ever comment on videos, but what a fantastic tribute to a fantastic movie. It has been one of the most beloved movies I've ever seen. It's one of those movies that puts that joyful smile on my face and a tear in my eye everytime. I've lived in Dallas/Ft. Worth my entire life and haven't taken the road trip to these places like you have. Looks like it was perfect. Makes me want to visit them now. Thanks for the video

  • a treasure...thanks to the writing, directing...and Pat.

  • Pat Methany helps make this movie....

  • thank thank you.. i have my girlfriends closed in dallas and this film remember the site..please you don't remove this ...thank

  • thxs 4 sharing this movie couldnt b better scripted about me and my buddies!!!!!

  • Best movie every ! If you grow older you know what this story is about.

  • duuude you were on the movie s spots!!! unreal!

  • a saturday afternoon turn on the tv and this movie was on, i was blow away, right now i have the dvd and this song is on my ipod. this is more than a movie

  • Watched it every weekend of my Sr. year in college. Unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Crying.

  • THE greatest movie of all times..... First watched it with my best friend to this day in 1985...... We watched it every summer until he moved to Australia in 1997...... I still watch it over and over... it brings tears to my eyes every time....."Here's to us by God... To us.... and to what we were...... and what will be......" A serious gut-check to this day.....

  • Great Movie and a great video tribute!!!!!

  • This movie is special in many ways. The memorable lines, music, mannerisms of the actors, locations, etc. How it's structured is also unique. When did you last see a movie where the key line is given by the character who has said virtually nothing throughout? This made the film especially poignant. On some level, the massive Dorman represents the friendship between them: wordless, but always present, comforting. He's almost an angelic figure seeing them through it.

  • What is Gardner holding in his hand at the end? It looks like a belt. Always wondered.

  • It's his belongings tied together with a belt. I got to see the director's cut of this film at the Ultimate Fandango in 2007 and in that version Gardner is shown running down the hill towards Mexico after holding up the beer bottle.

  • @Lanterna2008 He is holding the bandana he took out during his dance with Wagner's bride.

  • ...."Where's Gardner?"..."He didn't say Good-Bye"...."neither will I "

  • that's my house behind sonic. nahh j/k but i got a skate vid of me doing a 540 of that roof.

  • That fucking rules.

  • You GOTTA love Truman Sparks!

  • Great post! I graduated UT in 1971. Although I was not in a fraternity; I was an anti-war activist with SMC, I enjoyed the movie. In the summer of 1970, I put my dog, Punky, in my '56 Chevy and drove out to Marfa to an International Soaring contest. Also, drove down to Big Bend. Wonderful memories. One note: we must have changed more than a few minds in the fraternities about the war, because Jeff Jones, an activist who I worked with, was elected student body president for the 1970-71. Aloha

  • Growing up,beer, friendship, hangovers, pain, frustration,LIFE,as I have enjoyed it and would do it all in a NEW York minute again.

  • my favorite movie too.....makes me want to drink beer with my old buddies every time....pavlovs theory proved once again.....

  • WOW....I can't think of a better tribute to that movie!! I think its awesome that you were able to visit those locations. I saw that movie 20 years ago and I STILL quote it with my friends. Our two favorites are "Just a tad" and "I would rather burn in at 200 mph...."

  • This is exactly what those little peckerwoods abroad don't get about Americans.

We're crazy as hell, but it's all about growing up.

    We do get there eventually.

  • Amazing! Best Movie. Great video. Thanks

  • It's for you, although recorded in 1981, and an anachronism for a movie set in '71, still gives me chills and chokes me up everytime I watch this incredible flick from my high school days...... somewhat melancholy, yet exhilarating... phenomenal Metheny and Mays.... 'As Wichita Falls, So Falls Wichita Falls'

  • This song chokes me up too. One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

  • I finally found the DVD!!! I've seen this movie about 20 times since 1985, when my best friend and I first saw it in high school. It goes way beyond the stupid (yet hillarious) teen flicks of the '80's. It has so much more depth that any man can relate to during his youth. College buds forever!!!

  • What a great movie! Nicely put together video...I'm going to watch the movie again right now. Thanks for posting!

  • Bravo. I'm from that part of the world and that is one of my favorite movies. A very unique place. Stark and beautiful. Rugged yet inviting. Good job sir. Flick always brings a tear to my eye. I will be passing this on to all the Fandago friends I have. Thanks

  • as a fan of the flick I can't thank you enough for making this...looks like you had a blast just like the Groovers!

  • An excellent tribute to a fantastic movie. Many thanks.

  • i love this video that you put 2gether, i loved seeing you going to the places that it filmed and you shoing the clips against each other... :D

  • When I saw this movie I thought this song was great. I was in La Jolla at a video store and watched the credits to see what the title of this song was. It's a good song but sad. It plays well with the movie.

  • what is the title of that beautiful song?

  • Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays - It's For You

  • I once watched this movie with my older brother when I was 17, I'll always remember it. He committed suicide 2 years later, but seeing this movie always brings back a good memory. Thanks for posting

  • Very Cool , Search PROOF on youtube and "have a nice life "

  • The Proof videos are mine too. You can find them on my page.

  • NICE !

  • 16歳で出会ってから38歳の今まで私にとって、一番大好きな大切な映画です。

    この動画を観てたらいろんな思いが巡って涙が止まりませんでした。こんな素敵な旅、いつかできるといいな・・・

  • me too!

  • p.s can i ask you, when you stood on the rock that Kevin Costner stood on in front of the `dom' rock, was it steep in front of you?

  • Yes VERY steep. It's a pretty long drop down at that point.

  • Hi, I.m from Scotland in the U.K. and i just like to thank you for that great video. Fandango is my fav film too and even though i.m 38 i still want to one day make it out to the locations of that film and see it for myself. If nothing else, you've told me where to go and i.d just like to thank you for that vid with the best piece of music from the film. thanx so much:):)

  • A group of us are planning another trip in July 2010. If you are interested go to our message board at ultimatefandango . com.

  • Thanks for bringing back some good memories. Brilliant job!!!

  • my favourite movie ever.thank for this job, well done.i sow this movie when i was 17....great period when we were teen.but we understand it later.good life to everybody!andrea (italy)

  • Excellent job!! I really enjoyed it, I love this movie also, I've spent time in West Texas (Ft. Davis, Alpine, Marfa) and chartered a flight at Marfa Airport to do some aerial photography, the caretaker/pilot of the airport actually saw the plane used in the film, (he was also a Korean War Veteran), he was totally "shocked" at the condition of the plane when it was at Marfa airport! Thanks for the actual locations of the scenes, I may follow your footsteps and visit them myself!

  • I listen to this song every saturday morning and it puts me in a great mood.

  • Great movie though sad or at least i feel it is. I hate growing old.

  • YES, Blu-Ray!!!!

  • tk848--- This my ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOVIE TOO!!! I've been looking for a DVD for years and still can't find it.... Is it to be found??? My best friend and I watched it over and over from '85 to '90... when we went our separate ways..... The chills from 'It's for you' will last a lifetime.....

  • You can get the DVD on amazon.. the dvd wasn't realesed for this movie till 2005!! A protest was set up on the fandango website to be sent to warner bros. to realease it in dvd format, when I signed the potition, over 20k peeps already sighned it!! it was sent to warner and guess what? one year later TO THE DAY! they did it.. we did it.. the fans

  • Now I want it on Blu-Ray!

  • Yes, it is, my wife ordered it a few years ago from I believe B&N, it took months but finally came in. I think it actually had to be put on DVD first, hence the delay.

  • Good work my man. Still one of my favourite movies. Evokes so many emotions. Stunning track by the genius that is Pat Metheny. Love it.

  • I come by every few months and check it out. Thanks.

  • Excellent. Probably my favorite film as well!

  • the most amazing tribute I've ever seen. I can't imagine how much time you have invested in this. Where did you find this song? I've been looking for it for years. Outstanding work!

  • All of the songs in this movie are available on iTunes. I especially like the director's treatment of the Carole King song, when they are in the car. The slow zoom in on Gardner as he dreams about the girl. Excellent.

  • great movie first time i saw it was in 84 or 85 my mom got me two cases a beer and gave me a hundred bucks then she went to vegas for a week whata party

  • Thanks for the video. Just watched the movie this weekend on dish. Not sure why it is so emotional but really enjoy it.

It's unclear what Costner and the girl's past was but it is inferred they were together before she was the fiance.

could have had a little more explaination

    of that relationship.

  • Outstanding, just outstanding....ya captured the moment.

  • My best friend from high/college and I always watched this at his house from '85 thru '92. He was Costner and I was Judd Nelson. The end of this movie always chokes me up.

  • This is how a tribute should be done. Nice leg work man.I love Tejas and Ilove this movie! Great job

  • very great job thanks man.

  • If I was ever stranded on a desert island, and I had one movie with me, it'd be "Fandango". Nothing sums up what we all wish our lives could have been.

  • Nice work.....I've enjoyed this often.....

  • nice ! Very nice !

  • we gotta love FANDANGO. this movie is about everything.

  • I'm hoping to have time to go visit some of these sites myself, I'll be in Albuquerque, NM this month. I hope I have time to get away and go to TX. I found the locations maps online with great descriptions on how to find it all.

  • Also one of my most favorite movies. I remember trying to decide if I should go to college or not and sitting with my applications in my hand this movie came on and for some reason after watching it, it convinced me to send the applications off. I was soon accepted and my life completely changed. I meet some very good friends for life at school, much like this movie. Funny how things work out. Thanks for the post.

  • Fantastic tribute, friend.

For such a low key and neglected movie, it certainly provokes so many memories and emotions. It goes to show that the bonds of friendship, and the potential loss of those bonds, transcend national boundaries.

For example, I'm Scottish, and have never been to Texas, but every time I watch this film I seem to relate entirely with it.

Surely anyone who has had friends then lost them can.

  • Awesome movie and awesome soundtrack...

I first saw Fandango by chance on cable and then bought

a VHS copy of the movie---DH transferred it to dvd recently...

When I taught high school English, I used the "parachute school" scenes to get kids thinking about how to write...

  • This rules. I saw Fandango for the first time in a hotel room when I was on a trip with my parents in 85 or 86, probably on HBO or Showtime. I always knew it would be one of my favorites... an amazing story with unforgettable characters. It tugs at my heart whenever I see it again. Thanks for posting this.

  • I saw this movie on HBO back in the 80s and have probably seen it 500 times over the years. I'm glad to find this tribute and other people who love the movie too. I have it on tape and DVD. Watching this movie always makes me hurt, but in a good way. Thanks for sharing your tribute.

  • where can i watch this movie online for free

  • My favorite movie, also. Taped it off of Showtime in '85 when I was in high school in Dallas. I've seen it over 100 times, easily. I started a fan site for Fandango on Facebook. Please join Fans of Fandango the Movie. Great stuff tk848! Thank you.

  • What is it about Texas ? I can't stand the state and yet it draws to me, like an old dusty hat you can't discard. Maybe I'm pre-destined to retire there ...

  • texas is all that you want for it to be. It is a timeless place with more culture and beauty than any other state will admit to. Go to Texas and enjoy it; theres a reason for all the state pride, and its not really about size.

  • Lived there and visited numerous times over the years, maybe I need to get out in hill country to see more culture and beauty ...

  • what an incredible film this is...i discovered it by accident soe 10 years or so ago as i taped it on the end of a film i had the set the video to record late night. It means so much to me and mikebart70, I know exactly what you mean.

    Incredible.

  • this is a GREAT movie that has a great story, your right not too many people seem to know about it.

  • Fantastic job, man!

This movie means so much to me.......

    Cheers

  • everytime I see something of this film, a photo, a videoclip, a trailer or hear a song, I feel like I've lost something really important a long time ago.

I dont know why or what it is but the felling is very strong and clear to me.

Thats really strange because I've never been in texas or in the USA. I'm not even american.

No other movie ever made me fell like that.

Thank you so much for posting it.

I wish I could be with you guys when you've seen all those places.

  • Your description captures it.Everythign about that last scene makes you feel like you have lost something. But it's most apparent for me with Kevin Kostner. He realizes he blew it with the beautiful woman who is now gone forever, having fun in school is over forever, and the friends who looked up to him as a leader are gone. All the innocence of youth ends with him hitchiking to mexico. Like the 1st scene in this video shows, his best times are in the past, the others could be in the future.

  • I've read somewhere this film is about the director's ( kevin reynolds I believe ) personal experiences.

  • It is somewhat. Just above the Dom rock in the movie there is another rock with the word "Dom" carved in it. In 1971 Kevin Reynolds and some college buddies buried their own Dom there. I have footage of Brian Cesak standing next to it and talking about it.

  • awesome !!!!

  • excellent music, excellent movie!

  • I had posted some comments on the(we lost the band)web site anyone who think enough of this move to do a tribute this tasteful is a friend of mine. one of my goals in life is to take the fandago trip and to meet the man who mad this tribute
