I saw this match from beggining to end. CM Punk was the color commentator for the match, at one point saying he knows what it's like to wrestle for an hour.

Danielson TORTURED Aries in this match, working over his stomach, his arm, and his leg. When he had Aries on the top-rope, he responded to chants of "Please Don't Die!" with "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF I DIE OR NOT!!!"

Aries was also outstanding, matching Danielson hold for hold. Excellent match, and a testament to ROH's success.

They using him well, hes not getting any stupid long story lines (bar the bella twins thing) hes just getting and preforming in solid matches full of great pure wrestling as a posed to the Cena styled shitty show boating. Some of his matches with Regal and even Dolph have been the real saving grace of the WWE in a Sea of mediocrity as of late.

Hes basicly being set up as more of the "cult hit" than the boring kids super hero face he could have been.

Austin Aries should be in the WWE, more than Bourne and sadly more than Danielson. Aries has the charisma and the mic skills to back up his wrestling more so than Danielson. And how Bourne is in the WWE considering he epitomizes the stereotype of an indy wrestler is baffling.

@Fifaish Bourne's moveset is limited in WWE because guys like Sheamus, McIntyre, and other guys can't work the same stiff, lucha libre style. Only a select few can, like punk, Danielson, Mysterio, Gabriel, Kidd, etc....I too don't know why WWE hasn't picked up Chris Hero though.

I love seeing that wrestlers still wrestle for 60+ minutes unlike a lot of today's WWE or even TNA matches. I grew up on the JC promotions and always loved watching Ricky Steamboat/Ric Flair wrestle to the 60 minute time limit draw. I just got into ROH and will definitly be checking out more of their stuff but I have heard great things about it.

I agree with you at somepoints there but it not wrestling in general, the wwe has never been about pure wrestling. Places like ROH and TNA (until hogan took over) have been about actual wrestlers that can entertain the audience by doing what their supposed to do and thats wrestle. The WWE for the most part just hires actors with a lot of muscle and even then, the more muscle you have, the less of an actor you have to be.

Dragon Gate pop and drop style wrestling that ROH used for a while isn't wrestling, it's spotty. WWE hires guys who DRAW, that's all any wrestling company is. They look at their audience and hire guys who will DRAW with that audience. If that's with a headdrop, then it's with a headdrop, if it's with a huge bicep and a catchprase, then so be it.
