Brock is a beast. But the Velasquez fight showed that he still has a lot to work on. It's hard to say with his size if he'll ever be able to have good standup. Sure, he's fast for how big he is, but he's no where near the speed of a Dos Santos or Velasquez

There was a lot of technique involved in how Brock beat Mir the second time around. At first glance, sure, it looked like a big brother beating up his little brother after a frustrating game of Madden. But in reality, he had a great game plan for that fight, it wasn't just his huge muscles that did it for him.

The only reason Brock got up in his face after the fight is because Mir staggered up and walked towards Brock while Herb was trying to hold him back. If you were in Brock's position, it would looked like Mir was going to try and do something. Those you say he doesn't have respect for fighters or the sport are full of b.s. The only time he shows disrespect is to those who mock his WWE career. Couture didn't do that to Brock, and Brock was humble and respectful towards Couture.

I have to admit though it is a bit odd that Brock completely changed his lifestlye and was o.k. for the Carwin/ Velasquez fights but a month or so out from the JDS fight he was violently ill again and needed surgey.

frank mir didn't gain 30lbs, he cut to 245 from 255 from the first time they fought at UFC 81, and now he is 265 so he only gained 10lbs of muscle!! it still wont make a difference,, frank mir even though he hit kongo with a beautiful overhand he looked a little more sluggish than usual,, i think his best bet is to come in at 245 again lean and good cardio but pick at brock and avoid the ground game period,, i know for a FACT his cardio at 265 wont be as good as lesnar,

Well, MIR is gunna fight Lesnar again after his next fight...I doubt Mir is gunna run his mouth so much. But, I also think Mir is gunna beat Brock. I truly believe that Mir is just to skilled on the ground for Brock. But, I guess we'll see. Either way it's gunna be a good fight when it happens.

yes pre fight talk happens but not to the extent that Mir took it. He mocked Brocks training, ability, even his tattos for God's sake. Why should Brock have showed Mir respect?
