My only problem with the Patriot act is that its not only a past bill that no one read before passing but it also violates peoples 4th and 5th amendment rights. That needs to change. Good job on the questioning.

So we elect officials. Re-elect them. Believe they have passed laws A, B, and C.
Then it actually turns out that the laws being enforced are effectively a different set of laws. So what is the point of voting?
