  • Doc's Fella and Caramore were two of the most relentless half-milers in their day. While this was a gritty effort by Doc, hardly his greatest race. It was a pretty lame Open Handicap field other than the Fellas. No Caramore, no Division Street, no George S. Hell, I could run the final quarter faster than Slo-bart Star.

Sure wish somebody would post the 1984 Levy won by Caramore. I'm tired of seeing the 1985 Levy Final that On the Road Again turned into an exhibition. What a beast!

  • @ohearn22 big time memories from watching Caramore and Doc's Fella on WOR tv that somehow we were getting in Chicago, Il...Does anyone remember "Rx Lawman"...I have tapes and tapes of all those 1983-1985 "I believe in Yonkers" theme song race shows fron NY...How to upload them? Any suggestions?

  • I hope to see some races with Fight The Foe, he was as tough as they get.
