  • I like that at the beginning when the kid falls, the dog looks around like "how am I supposed to play with this kid? Can we get someone that can at least stand?"

  • 0:02 kid's already got the diving part down pat. somebody yellow card that rottie!

  • lol that dog fucked that football up

  • I'm european..and in scandinavia we call it "Fotball" but i think outside scandie..they call it "Football!

  • So THATS what a rott tail looks like... nice vid, brah. :D

  • sigh football is an eggshaped ball not that round thing gay europeans kick around

  • @MrDrag0npunch I'm from europe (belgium) and I agree that american english is better than british english (but a soccer baal is a voetbal here kinda the same as football)

  • @MrDrag0npunch you that a football is that eggshaped ball that is use in a sport where ppl play whit their hands and think that the most clever thing is to call it footbal?? that sport where you use tones of protection? that sport younger that football but only stupid people call it football??

  • i would never let a dog that size anywhere near my baby no matter how tame and gentle you say it is, its still a animal and dogs attacking babies is`nt rare. is it really worth the risk?

  • @rich15000 ..that size??..you WOULD allow your child near a chiauau?..baby are more likely getting bite by tham than a big dog..damn little ankle biters!!!

  • @ljbain5 not unsupervised. I could stop a smaller dog if it attacked my child, a dog that large would be very hard to stop.

  • @rich15000 it's a matter of trust between the master and his dog. people who didn't have a dog/didn't raise or train their dog properly don't understand that. =)

  • @ERINNUT0711 --> No, it's a Footboll. Think outside USA ;-)

  • Aww that's precious. What a good baby to share his ball with that big brute. LOL just kidding I own 3 rotties myself and this is an excellent display of the gentleness of rotts and small children

  • Dolcissimi!

  • ah just red that gibson is gone...i am sorry to hear that. you are an example of how to deal with rotties: you,ve got a garden, no cutting of the tail, the dog listened very well, and was carefull with your child. dogs are blessed with owners like you

    peace

  • I LOVE seeing rotties with their tales. :) Cute vid. :)

  • that's soccer except if you are from somewhere else then i totally understand

  • wrestlingkid123able@ Hehe, sure... BUT the topic is still "playing with football" not playing with Soccer" hehe ;-)

  • nice looking dog.

  • for the people who say "these parents are irresponsible" i guess that would also make mine irresponsible cuz i grew up with a rottweiler and a pit and they would never harm me, they were part of the family.

  • Darling baby and gourgeous Rottie! The cuteness factor is off the charts!!

  • wow i bet that dog had a blast lol

  • People who say these parents are irresponsible are silly. They know about their own dog. They have many clips and they have a well-trained dog. I think that people who claim to have had rotties and then make comments like "It could have ripped that baby's face off" didn't truly trust their OWN dog. My dog would never, ever be capable of that unless it was flat-out wounded or rabid. Poorly trained labs are just as capable of violence really.

  • Agreed. There are no bad or violent breeds, only bad Owners.

This comes from someone who has had many Rotties.

  • Yeah, watch his other videos with his son and his rott gibson.

  • What the fuck are you on about?

i have owned many Rotties and Dobermans.

If You really knew anything about dog breeds You would know there is no such thing as an aggressive breed, only bad training.

This dog looks to be well trained and well socialized, that Child was in NO DANGER AT ALL.

Please in the future do some research before You make Yourself look even more stupid.

  • Read my comment again brainiac.

I never say anything like you suppose. I DID say that it depends on training..

Any trainer will tell You that ANY dog that is properly trained and socialized has a near ZERO chance of unprovoked aggression.

    Read it helps.

  • ahahaha u got ur ass told and educated by this guy. better study more about dogs and rotties b4 u start sayin shit!!

  • hahahaa ur such a retard u need to learn about dogs befor u coment iv had 5 rottweilers not once has anyone of them shown any agression to me or anyone i know nor other dogs its how u bring them up that makes them wot they are so seriously get ya facts right befor u comment on things cos at the moment ur talkin bullshit

  • How cute! I love it! 5 Stars!!!

  • my rotties got a longer tail that dat

  • luv how ur rottie had a tail

  • thank u for not cutting of that dogs tail:) i wish i had him:)

  • why did people chop of the tails anyways ?

i dont get they they feel the need

  • its cos people think that it 'looks good', and it is 'safer'. cos appaz a rottweilers tale can knock out a baby. i think its total RUBISSHHH

  • never seen a rotties with a long tale like that

  • They're all born with long tails but most people dock them.

  • love rotties <3

  • ahhhhh how cute. so endearing!

  • That is the sweetest thing I have ever seen!!

  • Why do these dog have such bad reputations?

  • Because of people raising them as guard dogs, rottweilers are incredibly effectionate dogs. i have a 1 yr old male and he is scared of chihuahua's but he gets dirty looks in public.

  • lol you are not serious he is afraid of chihuahua lol ?????

  • My dog is afraid of footballs! i think its the noise a football makes when it hits the pavement, terrified of them now completely, even when its on grass!

    She's not a rottweiler though!

  • thats mean, i hate people who dislike a rottie, you should show people the affection they give

  • because people train them to be guard dogs which is a shame. they are an amazying breed and very lovable.

  • People don't necessarily train them to be guard dogs.

They used to be shepards dogs and they are very territorial. They will protect their family and their space, but they don't do random attacts nout of the blue.

  • I love the way Edvin falls over at the beginning, and Gibson sort of looks around with a "Well, what am I supposed to do with that?" look.

And I cried a little when he brought the soccer ball back. Didn't even mention what a lame throw it was :-)

  • your kid is getting soccerintructions from a german!!

  • Very good!!!!! hahahaha...

  • SOOOOOOO nice to see a rotti complete with tail - I'd almost forgotten how they look!

  • you wont 2 see my rott WOO

  • i love vids like these they show the real side of the rotties

  • isnt that a soccer ball? or r u in the UK idk keep playing and video taping

  • awesome dog, how much does he weigh? he looks pretty big =) i wish i had a dog like you!!

  • It is wonderful that you are sharing the true character of the rott. We have two, Bishop & Raven. I wish more people would be open minded enough to see it.

  • Soooo cute this big dog and this lil boy and thats the true charcater of a rottweiler

  • cant beleive it again i will have to find my video out of my girl skye playing football with my children ...love it xxx

  • So cute! Our rotty loves basketballs!!! She gets very excited about the ball!!

  • i have a staffy at the mo ,but i would love a rotti i was wondering how much food they eat on average a day , in tins ? and are they easy to train , beutiful dog by the way

  • Very intelligent, mine learnt to lie down, speak and shake hands in about 3 hours. he eats like a horse though. have to work weekends to feed him :/ need to feed them good food as a pup to avoid joint problems.

  • you dont see many rotts with tails do you? mine dont have one.... but regardless.. tail or not i LOVE em!!!!

  • Eran rottweiler måste vara den sanna rottweilern personifierad....Helt underbart att se hur försiktig han är och hur givmild han är mot (otroligt söta!) Edvin.

  • he at least i think its a he...is a big dog! i love these videos where you see the "dangerous" rotty playing with just a tiny little baby...this whole misconception the rotty is nothing more than a dangerous violent dog is prooved so wrong in these videos

  • they have a lovely friendship, and i wish them both many happy years together, if only more rottweiler owners were as good as you are... xxx

  • Why do they dock Rottie tails? They look weird without them and can't communicate (wag) properly with other dogs. :(

  • i love all the videos of the rot. he is so nice with the baby.

  • they play just like my rottie and my 3 yrs old son <3 they r also best friends 4ever,my rottie wouldnt never harm my kids.

  • the kid is like "BITCH MY BALL!!"

  • what a cute rottweiler and baby! by the way i think that's a soccer ball not a football.

  • ur obviously american

  • those two are amazing!!! its incredible how he jus lightly nibbles on his hand, its clear he will NEVER hurt him! Amazing!!!

  • DITTO to the comment before mine! I love your videos! Your Rottie is adorable and so is your baby!

Our puppy is still itty bitty, but didn't have his tail docked before we got him. I've heard benefits of doing it and not doing it, but never heard of a country not allowing it. I don't think it matters if the tail is docked when they are tiny, but older Rotties would be in pain from that kind of surgery.

  • I get realy happy when I see your videos!!

you prove that rottweilers aren't monsters if you raise them well!!! I have a rottie too, with a tail whiwh is much more beautiful, and she's such a sweety too!! thank you for sharing this with us!

  • How nice to see a rottie with a beautiful tail! It became illegal to dock tails her last year so I am looking forward to seeing more tails. Great video.

  • Great dog but what with the tail?

  • Hi! It's forbidden to dock tailes here in Sweden since 1990. So all (almost) rotties have tails over here.

  • I've been watching most of your videos with Gibson, and I've seen multiple questions about his tail. Why would people even want to cut their tails off? I'm no dog expret but I see logical reason to do that =/

PS. Wonderful dog and cute baby!

  • With that size of a dog, and with that CLASS (WORKING dogs), their tails are large and powerful and often in the way. A tail can swing hard enough to just hit a wall but cause INJURY to the Rottweiler. Some owners dock them, some don't. It's pretty cute when they are docked. It's done at a young age (when they are first born), performed by the Vet, and heals quickly. When they get older, their little "nub" will wiggle and their entire rear end wags back and forth.

  • Hey, i have no knowledge of the reasons for docking a dog's tail. what is that all about?

  • Can you import a rottweiler with a docked tail from the US? A rott just doesn't look right with a tail. Plus I would have had so many things in my house knocked over and broken if my rottweiler's tail was not docked.

  • The Rottweiler is born with a tail, to want anything else is not to want a rottweiler!

  • @LJUNGWALD that's an amazing law, great society!

  • Yes, but the round thing without air in it you see in the video is still a football, not a soccer "ball", right? LOL ;-)

  • so your British?

anyways, your dog is a great example of the breed. My old pup was the same, just watch it when the baby touches near the eyes, he could hurt the dog

  • Thanks! No I'm from Sweden :-) Yes, I agree, always keep an eye on them and never leave a dog and a kid alone! Rule nr 1 !!

  • They call it football in other countries but in America they call it soccer. Its the same thing

  • thats soccer...

  • You'll learn oneday.

  • thanks for posting another video!

  • did the dog pop the ball lol

  • Jag bara måste säga att han är en utav dom vackraste rottishanarna jag sett :) Han verkar vara en go och väluppfostrad kille!

  • that is so fuckin cute

  • hahaha, if i get a rottie i would train it to be a babysitter and a guard dog

  • its better as a pup

  • LJUNGWALD tack igen xD våran rottweiler är 9 veckor nu och ska snart gå på valpkurs och en gång till TACK dina videos fick oss att köpa en rottweiler

  • aww you havent docked its tail either...excellent..rottys with their full tail look so gawjus...very cute vid...liked how the fog was bringing the ball back to your baby..very adorable

  • Let me guess...Your Rott popped the ball...Mine has popped three, lol. Don't listen to the idiots that don't know what they are talking about. They only know what they hear or read and nothing more. Your dog is wonderful.

  • SO whenever you hear about a dog attack ... blame the negligent owner and never on the dog or BREED of dog!!! A dog (just like a young child) only knows/understands what you teach them ... thus, the responsibility lies on the OWNER to teach the dog how to behave!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this video. It's kool to see your son 'growing' up and to see the relationship he shares with his rottweiler (brother) ... I love this!!!!

  • I can only speak for me,my family and my dog. And he would never bite any kid. How other people raise their dogs is nothing I can do anything about and it's really sad that kid get involved in ANY kind of trouble with dogs. But it's irresponsible parents that often lies behinds this accidents.

  • Every year, thousands of children are bitten by Chihuauas, Golden retrievers, Boxers, Shi tzus, Chows, German Shepards ... etc. However, ALL of breeds (including rotweilers and pitbulls) can be excellent with children when raised appropriately by DOG-PARENTS who teach their pet socially acceptable interactions. Virtually 100% of dog attacks (on innocent children) can be prevented if owners train their pets in an appropriate manner.

  • U don't even need to train pitbulls to be nice to people. They are VERY friendly to humans but not with male dogs. that's the truth. actualy they are nice to every dog too but they play harsh so other dogs bites them =D

  • Ii is evident that "nosoyazul" is uneducated and ignorant in dog psychology and quoting biased, incomplete, sensationalist newspaper headlines to create fear. Sweetheart, pick up a book and learn about how canines think and that TRAINING is the most important determinant of behaviour in this species. Animals will be animals, no doubt, but in order to criticize, prove that you understand their psychology first....

  • Nonsens, not much more to say. A rottie is LOYAL to the family, please dont't worry.

  • Villken underbar Rottweiler du har!

  • nice play, excellent* vid,

    janok

  • what a good pair of friend :D
