I have this on the Brother of Mine CS single since 1989. The cardboard package front is damaged somewhat. Also had the lyrics copied somewhere from memory. Also have the Love Will Find A Way CS single with Holy Lamb...but rerecorded the LP version of the former on side 1.
@jonathandevocht Let's face it: we love anything that comes from A B W H S W D or the Ts can give us. Because they're good and talented. Anything but from "the impostor" 's (he doesn't have shit, anyways)
In the ABWH video "In the Big Dream", there is about 5 seconds of this song showing Tony Levin playing the Stick part. You can hear Anderson in the background. I spent a lot of time looking for this song, thank you for posting it.
Its OK, but it sounds like a work in process that Steve hasn't added his guitar parts to yet. Some of the keyboards sound like passages from other songs from the album.
This piece doesn't have a chorus. It's interesting, but after it's over I can't remember any part of it. There's nothing memorable in it. Reminds me of the weak material on Tormato.
I had the cassette single for this. My introduction to Yes was Fragile, Close to the Edge, and ABWH in the Fall of 1989. This track was my fav of the ABWH tracks.
I remember this track being the B-side to the single Brother of Mine. Do you know where I can find this song on CD? I had it on cassette but that was 20 years ago. Anyone know where I can find this? Thanks. Louie.
yeah same here. and I'm obsessively seeking as much Yes music as I can and STILL discover new ones. what a prolific band :D it's a deep pleasure to grasp the magnitude of these guys.
Hi, DongFangSue. I cant agree with you here. When i play this song on my stereo loud (floor standing speakers) this song sounds GREAT! in fact, my CD single has Brother of Mine, Themes and Vultures... if Vultures was actually on the ABWH album, I would actually say that these three songs are actually the best three songs on the album! Anyway, just opinon/discussion. Fists of Fire is much better live than on the album, imo. OotU never quite sold me.
What a great song. I remember listening to this when I got the LP single for "Brother of Mine". I think this song is much better than most of the other tracks on the album. Great dynamics and Jon's vocals soar. What a great piece of work.
Thanks for posting this - I have been curious to hear it for ages. Steve's solo version (Rare Birds) is very nice, it is great to hear Jon singing it and adding his own lyrics too.

Now it is available on the bonus disc from the new release from ABWH. Great! But it still feels like an unfiniched song, but love it anyway!

I read somewhere that they're planning to release an expanded version of the ABWH album with single mixes and this song.

End is a lot like Brother of Mine, I can see why it didn't wind up on the album.

I have this song on vinyl, the 12" EP of "Brother of Mine" from ABWH. What CD is it on? I would swim across the ocean for a CD copy.
