just a question in my wood my trainer put my rubbers a little bigger than my wood cause he said rubbers get smaller with the time cause the glue make them contract, is that true or i should cut the rest of the border from the rubbers ( They are Donic Coppa X1 and 1 Acuda S1) Thanks :D!!

It's physics.. the temperature affected them. (not the glue!)

My rubbers aren't get smaller. they even get wider..

because I'm in Indonesia, in East, it's warmer here.

But you? you're in the West, right? and the temperature is colder, right?

note:the affect of the temperature will be seen when you are putting back your rubbers into the wood after the glueing.

@j0nlean : through experience on assembling racket. the stretching is cause by squeezing the rubbers too much using rollers upon glueing. roll lightly when glueing and it won't stretch.

@marioehw : the rubber will stretch if you press the rollers too hard when glueing. Roll lightly. by pressing hard the rubbers will stretch and then you cut it. the next time you reglue, you'll find out it's the rubbers are short. not by the glue. It happened to my tenergy rubbers.

The music sucks - we wanna hear the ball bite on the rubber - and that lovely glued-up sound! Waldner IS the Chuck Norris of Table Tennis - those serves of his make me chuckle. When he was under pressure in a game he could take 5 out of 5 on his great serves alone ha ha.

i really recommend Donic brand... it's not as good as Butterfly, but it's enough to give a good control... the price is not expensive, too.... :)

all of my table tennis rackets are Donic.... :)

if u got extra budget, u can mix the Butterfly blade with Donic rubber, it's very good.... :D
