  • why this ninja have a wushu suit????

  • not a true fire bender.

  • When are you going to do Water Form? I personally like the Psychic and Earth Forms, though not necessarily in that order.

  • What the Hell?... that looks nothing like Ka No Kata( Fire Form)!!! this looks like ... Kung -Fu

  • @viktorsolorzano

    Cause ninjas originated from China.

  • I thought that was nicely executed whatever its lineage. Well done.

  • In the words of my 10 yr old."what ever"

  • the force is not strong with this one

  • Looks very chinese.

  • where in the world is this school ?? :P i want to go

  • This style is a different animal than Ninjutsu and it's not even trying to be associated with Bujinkan or other related arts of Ninjutsu. This looks more like Saito Ninjitsu and they never claimed to be Ninjas - ever! Saito's art is a family art from Fukushima by way of Hawaii. Remember that Hawaii was a melting pot of many martial arts so they were bound to learn from each other. Saito Ninjitsu is unique and the guy in this video is no master and should not use the spelling Ninjutsu.

  • This is Kung-Fu, not Ninjutsu. Just because you wear a black outfit does not mean that what you are doing is Ninjutsu. In fact the Ninja would probably never have worn black clothing. Black was not a common color used in Japan at that time. If anything, it would have been blue or brown, but mostly they wore whatever they had to to blend it to their environment!

  • this has absolutely nothing to do with ninjutsu what-so-ever. i look down on this video and look even further down on the one who titled it as well, and refuse to even look at the person that agreed to have themselves taped, then uploaded onto youtube on such a ridiculous titled video.

  • Why's everyone so big on "authentic ninpo". All martial arts evolve. The guy is open and honest about the fact that it has elements form xing yi, tai chi and others. There is NO direct lineage back to "original" ninjutsu that can be verified anyway so whats the big fucking deal? Besides jujutsu and the like borrow heavily from the tai chi and other chinese arts in the first place...

  • @DrSpooglemon I think the difference is that they don't call themselves Tai chi or other chinese names. Why call this ninjutsu? That evokes very specific meanings and ideals.

People are free to invent what they want, but there are consequences to the labels and words people choose to employ in doing so. Borrowing the name of another method and grafting it onto one's own ideas is confusing, misleading, and, to be honest, suspect.

  • @Iaazathoth I appreciate that but my point still stands. The purported "ninjutsu" of the bunjinkan and the likes has been reconstructed from jujitsu and various things. They have questionable lineage; thus, questionable authenticity.

  • @DrSpooglemon Evolve, yes, but never into something that they never were to begin with. Chinese martial arts will never evolve into Japanese martial arts. They are two different cultures with different history. There were never "Ninja" in China, so how can you say that this clearly Chinese martial art has evolved into Ninjutsu? That makes no sense at all! That's like saying that an apple evolved into an orange!

  • @ExposeChosunNinja Apples 'n' oranges. Hmmm. There never were ninja in china but that is a because of the language difference. Anyway, I am talking about the fundementals of the "art"...

  • @DrSpooglemon Hey. I recognize that there were spies and covert operators in almost every country. There still is, but the Ninja were a group unique to Japan during a specific time frame, and no longer exist! Fundamentals of the Art?? All I see here is Kung Fu! Besides, why would someone use a Japanese art's name to describe a clearly Chinese one? Other than maybe to fool gullible people that don't know any better for publicity! Hmmm!

  • @ExposeChosunNinja actually, Japanese martial arts was became from the Chinese martial arts (from south styles). Japanese martial arts hasn't training of eyesight, almost hasn't training of inner energy, which is important in fight. It has just small things, that Chinese technics has. (Sorry for my English).

  • @Makserium I agree that Okinawan Karate is based in Chinese martial arts, and some of the other mainland Budo as well such as Gykko Ryu Koshijutsu and Koto Ryu Koppojutsu, but not all Japanese MA have it's roots in Chinese MA. Ninjutsu for example is not primarily a fighting art. It has to do with espionage, infiltration and information gathering. The Ninja trained in many forms of Budo so that if they had to fight, they could. My point is, I see no Ninjutsu here!

  • @ExposeChosunNinja thanks for explaining. I got it.

  • These forms are good, but the footwork and positioning is definitely not Shinobi-inspired.

  • That looks like a karate kata performed by a guy wearing a chinese uniform...That's definitely not Ka No Kata!

  • @khrafstra Karate kata indeed. Are you at all familiar with xing yi. I see more of that here than karate...

  • @DrSpooglemon Yeah you're right, although I am not that familiar with xing yi. However, still, this is not Ka No Kata.

  • is there a lot of emphasis on forms in your style of ninjitsu?

  • This isn't Ka No Kata.

It actually looks like some form of Kung Fu. I don't know of any Japanese martial arts that do kata like this.

  • our kind will never die out, hatsumi sensai= legend :p

  • hey homo, you know hatsumi would say that this guy is a fruad. soke has said he's the only source of ninjutsu, this guy obviously isn't part of the bujinkan so soke would assume he's a fraud too. you're claiming to be a bujinkan student? what dojo are you with, tell me your instructors name, i'll contact him personally and let him know what a douche you are.

  • Shinobi 4 life

  • beautiful.
