This was like the end of an era. As a kid, you knew it was fake, but the commentary (like Tony and Heenan arguing) and the storylines were done so well that you could allow yourself to believe it was real. It was good shit, good drama. After around 97 or so, it was all downhill.

Yeah, alot of people don't realize that this was the start of WcW really putting the hammer on WWE. Sting started his transformation from this event. The NWO began to really get a full head of steam after this. Man, this was a big pay-per-view.
But still though at this point there is a battle going on. I know Sting was mad but you don't turn your back in the heat of battle. You wait til the battle is over to confront your beef.
