  • IDK why, but Lugar crawling on hands and knees yelling for Sting really pissed me off especially since his stupid useless ass was on of the first who turned on him. Times like this make me wish Lugar was in the humiliating position again. Sorry not a big Lugar fan.

  • I wish the entire event was here when nWo go up to the announce position at the end and Hogan calls Dusty "Daydream believer" and they hold up a fan's sign and say Winston Salem is nWo country.

  • I was 11 at the time of this ppv and i'll always remember luger crawling screaming STINGER!!! Great memories!!!

  • I see why WCW failed as an organization. all the stars and just the worst delivery and horrible endings.

  • @goldfangz I thought this was a great ending!!!!

  • the sting angle was awesome until nick patrick blotched the quick 3 count at starcade!

  • @wangtangbowler he botch it ?

  • one of way too many times WCW screwed the fans to protect hogan - and in the end - we all know - it backfired

  • STIIIIIIIINGER!

  • STINGERRRRRRR!!!!

  • When they annouce the team members after the victory, they call the fake Sting, "a 4th team member". What a jobber. lol

  • 3:51 TURN AROUND RANDY!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Sting had every right to walk out

  • 0:30 lol act like dat boot to the face jus killed him

  • Sting Rules! Wrestling Icon!

  • Is that good enough for you right there! Is that proof enough!!!

  • I knew Sting didn't turn on WCW but nobody trusted him, and I don't blame him for walking out.

  • WCW at its best

  • STIINNGGGEERR!! STTIINGGGEERRR!!!

  • flair and arn jumping the outsiders and hogan at the end is siiiick! They shoulda let Macho get hogan and book it when giant showed up tho, when you consider how the exact same thing happened at the next PPV

  • wow, i remember these days...nWo probably was the most successful heel organization of all pro wrestling..

  • Try the Horsemen, especially during the 80's

  • how does stating the facts get you a thumbs down?! i hate the internet.

  • Don't worry about the thumbs down. There's haters everywhere.

  • yea but these haters dont get it stables like the nwo would not have existed if it wasnt for the success of the horsemen in the 80s.

  • You're 100% correct

  • ITS ALL REASON OF NWO N HOGAN that caused this event with STING. HOgan that lame A*... WCW MIGHT HAVe been still in competing business with WWE had it not been for him n the others. Eric.. I dont have much to say about him but His business deals Not so sure.. but matches were actually worth watchin yet i didnt like the constant cutting off in the middle of a exciting moment.

  • if they gave you everything away, then you woulnt have a reason to ask yourself what was going to happen next, and tune in next week...

  • 1 thing you can say about the Horsemen, is that they had fight left in them.

  • epic chokeslam at the end there

  • Yok where can you get NWO greatest hits, They the four horseman grestest I brought that 2 years ago at Wal-mart

  • Yaup and too bad it actually did kill ted turners WCW

  • yaup someone down thumbed your comment but i made it right.. yeah this is why all the WCW lovers dont have their company anymore.. Well relaly its because WCW hired Vince russo then went at Jim Ross with that tasteless portrayal.. Yaup they should have changed the name to NWO instead of WCW because it was so dumb to always see hogan and them winning.. or when it was the red nwo.. it was still the same guys winnning.. kind of how WWE is now.. thats y tyson kidd needs to take the place of CM punk

  • time/warner killed WcW and before this ..it was a shit hole losing tons of money they may have ran this story line into the ground but even in the end it was still one of the most watched shows on TV

I really enjoyed watching both WWF and WCW and it was alot more interesting with the 2 promotions head to head

  • Yeah.. as long as you agree that Punk is TNA caliber and Tyson Kidd is what an actual WWE superstar looks like... man Tyson can cut such a better promo than punk.. the only way that punk can win the heavyweight title is by winning money in the bank.. kinda pathetic that they cant come up with him winning against a heavyweight and having it be belivable to the point where the WWE wont look stupider than letting hornswoggle do the tad pole splash

  • This was all setup They wanted String to go from the bright colors to the crow which is dark black and white, and carrying big black baseball bat

  • Another classic moment with the NWO. This is one of the greatest moments in wrestling next only to a coupel of other NWO moments. The dominance the NWO had over the rest of WCW was/is unlike any other group dominance in wrestling ever.

  • Scott Hall and Kevin Nash got to be inducted in to wwe hall of fames

  • "TURN AROUND RANDY!!! OH MY GOODNESS..."

That's what I call drama plus ten!!!

  • it cracks me up even when I watched it back then and see repeats of this show..it is so funny how blind the announcers are. I mean com on you can tell that guy was not the real Sting , I knew when it first happened I know that fake Sting was NOT the real stick, boy how dumb do they think the fans are.

  • Where was DDP, and the other horsemen, and the Steiners after the match? the whole locker room should have come out and ganged up on the NWO. The NWO probably could have fought them all off, but it still would have been interesting.

  • gotta say tho it was a great match hogan goin over savage at the end w/ help from the giant was retarded since the exact same thing happened at the next PPV

  • This was like the end of an era. As a kid, you knew it was fake, but the commentary (like Tony and Heenan arguing) and the storylines were done so well that you could allow yourself to believe it was real. It was good shit, good drama. After around 97 or so, it was all downhill.

  • Randay Savage should've been part of War Games.WCW would've won.

  • man heenan commentary when he tells tony to shup hahah what if what if priceless heenan could make anything interesting

  • man this is when WCW wuz tha best, too bad everyone fucked that place up

  • Yeah. To bad Vince bought WCW, and ECW. You have to have competition in any business, that way things are kept fresh. TNA is ok, but it's no WCW. I can hardly watch wrestling these days. Thank goodness for YouTube, so that we can watch all of these great matches.

  • agree, but TNA could be good if they would hire people that new whut they were doin instead of listening 2 Russo and Jarrett who killed WCW w/help from time warner. I actually hear that turner wants 2 get back into wrestling.

  • where'd ya hear about that!!!

  • Amen to that!

  • Good ending to the match. It kept the NWO vs WCW feud alive and built nicely for Halloween Havoc.

  • danm i mean no offenes to sting he roks but boy was i pissed at him after this

  • Screw that.... Why should he, he proved himself and by that he was through

  • Can you blame him for this? If someone accused me of being a traitor (even though we knew each other for years) I would have done the same thing. In fact, I would have severed ties with him/her until I received a very sincere apology.

  • lol

  • remeber when kevin nash threw rey mysterio against a trailer lol

  • he threw him like a dart!!!!

  • @darthtorch when the anouncer say THEY TROW HIM LIKE A DART LOL XD

  • bobby heenan says to tony: tony, shut up, its too late now, what if, what if, what if........lol

  • agreed, when he said shut up to tony, that was pretty fuckin funny

  • yea another bobby heenan classic, always comes up with funny comments lol

  • Technically the cage should have been locked after Sting entered... the only way out is submit or surrender. So Sting should not have been allowed to leave.

  • Because Luger called him a traitor since the nWo had fake sting, and Luger thought Sting had crossed WCW.

  • can some one tell me what happen after this match lex lugerwas crawling on the floor calling out sting but sting didnt come for his rescue

  • Also why didn't savage just attack hogan instead of motioning to the crowd? WCW Logic.

  • Yeah, alot of people don't realize that this was the start of WcW really putting the hammer on WWE. Sting started his transformation from this event. The NWO began to really get a full head of steam after this. Man, this was a big pay-per-view.

  • Rod Van Dam, it was part of the storyline at that time.

  • Stings so stupid why would he leave.

  • sting left because they belive that he was the other sting.

  • What, you wouldn't be pissed if your best friend (supposedly) couldn't tell the difference between you and an obvious imposter.

  • But still though at this point there is a battle going on. I know Sting was mad but you don't turn your back in the heat of battle. You wait til the battle is over to confront your beef.

  • ur an idiot!
