This came out the same year as the remake of Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman. Anyone but me who can see supernatural similarity between long-legged Barbie and the giantess?
Anyone notice how much they repete stuff? This came out the year i was born.When I got old enough to play with barbies and actually like them they came out with another.Now they have a new one.
Heh. I had one of these. The top was held up with some kind of invisible bra strap... I didn't know what it was at the time, and I ended up breaking one of the straps by accident. Her top kept falling down, and my friends made fun of me whenever that happened. "We can see your barbie's boobies" they'd say...
I hated that all of the neat mermaid stuff came out after I was a bit old to play with Barbie. I used to wrap a washcloth around my Barbie's legs and tie it with a rubber band to make a mermaid tail. *sigh*
lol I used to have this I always called her "Fountin head Barbie"

The tail was sparkly and so pretty
My next door neighbour had a similar style one with a blue tail and blue accessories.
not sure f it was the same though!
