O.o not that I know... perhaps youare thinking as such because fo the 'flopping' method for many american-released mangas? Some publishers flip the manga which suusally reads right to left to make it easier on north american eyes. This would change the handedness of characters, too. (as well as some things like words on T shirts or whatever, which is why I don't buy flopped manga, myself)

I know it's an old comment, but still.

I think most of the japanese are left handed simply because their writing style. If I'm correct the japanese write from the right to the left (and down ??). So to not get the hand covered in the writing you write with the left hand, like in for example USA you write from the left to the right and write with the right hand. But of course there are exceptions, yet the majority write like that.
