the 80's the golden age! this is definetly one of the best troma movies i have seen! another one i like is Poultrygeist, but it has a very insane level of toilet humour! the first toxic avenger is close to nukem high, there is one movie troma has bought, it's not a troma production, but anyway it's Monster in the Closet a trashy homage to 50's monsterflicks!

How can you not like "Redneck Zombies"...? That movie is designed for awesomness! Anyway, as a Troma conosur, I would recommend "The Toxic Avenger", "Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger part 4", "Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD", "Troma's WAR", "Tromeo & Juliet", "Terror Firmer", "Poltrygeist", "Girl School Screamers", "Blood Sucking Freaks", "Cannibal! The Musical", "Def By Temptation", & "A Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell".
My absolute favorite Troma movie--awesome review, man. You're right, Troma films are kind of a mixed bag, some are just horrible. All of the Lloyd Kaufman directed ones are my favorites though, beware of all the rest.
Yeah, I feel the same way about a lot of exploitation movies too. I am a fan of Al Adamson's "Satan's Sadists" a kickass biker flick. Then I just saw a review for his other movie "Hell's Bloody Devils" by Cinema Snob and it looks like the biggest piece of shit, including a pointless cameo by Colonel Sanders. It was probably one of his funniest reviews to this date.

I loved Class..but a lot of Troma flicks from the 90s on suck ass. Early to mid 80s was pretty golden though.

Not sure if it's Troma... but I highly suggest Hard Rock Zombies. It's in the same vein and even has its own music videos.
