I'm still trying to figure out something. Person 1 works at a job and only gets minimum wage. Person 2 works at the same job, has worked there for almost 20 years, is at the top of the office staff but because they make more than min. wage, they get no pay increase at all (and have been told they make too much to have a raise).

(continued) So if you make even 25-cents over min. wage, you don't get the increase. Doesn't seem fair to me. People who worked there for years before they were entitled to an increase don't get anything exra while those who JUST got hired get the increase.
