    Can someone explain to me?

I do not understand this language.

  • awkward lmao but the gay guy is hot!

  • Ahhh ... poor gay guy. I'll take him out so he doesn't feel rejected.

  • hahaha, I can not stop laughing, and this is the first english conversation I can understand (I been studyng) hahaha

  • lol that's funny

  • hahahahahahahaha!!!! yeah, that's awkward :)))

  • Lmao. XD Everybody say, "Awkward!"

  • Awwww, poor guy......I'll come have dinner with you, hottie-baby!!!

  • nadbfja omgxD i laughed so much Poor guy!!

Its like when your talking with friends or family outside and someone ext to you laughs and your like :D and only to find out they were laughing at something else and then you feel all akward xD

  • We'll never see a commercial like this in our Puritan based culture

  • no need to waste money on fancy dinner. he can eat me all he wants

  • hahahhaaha aaww xD I feel so bad for this guy haha

  • Yawn.

  • I am at the awkward scene of youtube, again..

  • Te guy with the sun glasses is soooo stupid and ugly, i would of went out with the guy on left.

  • The way he moves as he speaks is smooth, very smooth. Oh and Boycott Oakley and Sunglass Hut for this stupid advertisement.

  • yeah im gonna be on my phone while im in the hottub WTF

  • I dont think this was homophobic at all either... that gay guy was just rawrrrr~

That guy left because hes straight and it was a misunderstanding lol.

    calm down guise!

  • @FinaIAeon The guy with sunglasses didn't left...he's underwater doing a blow job to the hot gay guy!:)))

  • I'm lucky enough to have straight guy friends that would "date" me, (I'm an openly gay 18 y-o) my friends ask me out to a movie or to dinner and aren't afraid of people might think

  • the gay [hot] guy was only being sympathetic. I don't really thing we wanted to have a dinner with the other guy. But, the hypothetically straight guy should ask some excuses for the misunderstood. Besides the fact that it is extremely awkward to talk on the phone that way.

  • WORST. SUNGLASSES. EVAR!!!

  • @angel55676 yup, and overpriced.

  • Lmfao

  • wow...wish i could have dinner with him. lol

  • That guy looks like william levy

  • @ofarrell22 ja ja ja ja hasta donde ha llegado william levy ja ja ja

  • awk-waaaaaard

  • oh come on, that "Straight" dude is nowhere hot enough for that handsome gay guy. This is so unrealistic lol

  • @cutieboy24 I agree! lol. i would have dinner withat that hot guy anyday :)

  • I don't think it's homophobic at all. It would've been just as funny if it was a woman with the glasses.

  • This commercial isn't funny it's homophobic!! Hell I'd love to have dinner with tht hot gay guy

  • Homophobic, stupid...NOT funny.

  • Motorola culture is very right wing republican, conservative, and religous. I know, I worked for them in electronics engineering for 2-years. It does not surprise me that Motorola would put out a commercial like this that makes gays look awkward.

  • @AnkokuEvangeline he could have been on the phone with another man, we don't know. Not everything is homophobic.

  • The first time I saw someone w/a headset all I saw was the person talking and had no idea they were on the phone. I thought this lady was talking to me, then I thought she was crazy. After I saw the headset however I realized she was just rude and annoying having conversation at a regular volume in public.

  • (ugly => not gay) => (gay => cute)

Easy to understand within this ad

  • o yeah 5) HES SINGLE

  • y u all getting mad at the guy with sun glasses. its awesome he didnt go with the guy. cuz 1) we know hes gay, 2) We know he wants to meet someone and have dinner, 3) he isnt shy, 4) HE FUCKING HOT!!!!. thank the guy with the sun glasses. =)))

  • i wanna suck both of the men!!!!!!!!

  • 00:10 ... Straight man made a huge mistake.

  • I would have dinner with that guy.

  • i was expecting so much more evil and hateful comments, could it be possible that with the exception of mayo-hater and a few other weirdos the internet is slowly becoming decent?? Oh BTW if you wanna see some funny videos check out my channel

  • Why I hate people who wear sunglasses, and people who use cellular headsets. THE TWO SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT BE COMBINED.

  • @mayonnaisehater13 fuck you... no pun intended either.

  • why don't advertisers understand that lots of people actually get offended by subtle homophobia. its not doing their product any good. maybe this would be fine 20 years ago but they should be more aware nowadays.

  • @kingofgrace

Its not homophobia to be uncomfortable if you think a guy is hitting on you and you are uncomfortable. It is a natural reaction that no one needs to feel ashamed of or apologise for and it is STUPID and intolerant that people try to pretend it is bigotry. That is like saying if a girl thinks a guy is hitting on her and she's uncomfortable then she has a "phobia." She has EVERY right to feel uncomfortable, just as a guy does.

  • @Ambiduros The presentation the marketers used made it homophobic by playing off a misunderstanding that any two people, gay, straight or otherwise, may have had. They could have done the same thing with a woman, but it wouldn't have been viewed the same way. And okay, anyone has a right to feel uncomfortable, but when they invite misunderstandings, they should be respectful to any different opinion or way of life and simply explain rather than running off. Besides, it's flattery! Take it and go

  • Meh, didn't seem homophobic to me. Guy probably felt really embarrassed. I do not even see why people are accusing him or this commercial of being homophobic. I've had a similar situation in which that has happened, and I felt really embarrassed. That's why I see 1107 likes and only 88 dislikes, because most folks would be embarrassed either way for making a mistake like that, be it male or female.

  • I'd go out with that guy!

  • OMG

  • wow I mean the guy with the glasses should be really flattered that that hottie even considered having a dinner with him :o

  • thumbs if you thought the guy with the glasses was blind and thought he was talking to a women at first :P The ending was really homophobic... I agree with bloomsbury, the guy should have been REALLY flattered :)

  • ASS HOLE! THAT'S SOME OF A BITCH...THE GUY WITH SUNGLASSES!

  • well at least he didn't continue ignoring him... that would have been worse... most people forget about the world when they are on their cell phones

  • HAHAHAHAHAH

  • wnkinc- dramatic much? You might as well then kill yourself because it's coming and you can't stop it.

  • awkward...

  • The silliest gadget ever. Who in their right mind would want to buy a cell phone to fix to their sunglasses?

And, yes, the gay guy is HOT as hell

  • This guys was so hot but I didn't like this ending =)

  • BURN

  • why you always play with feeling of gay

  • @smit240 I don't know if it's much of a feeling. More of an expressed sexuality.

  • Not really all that homophobic, just escaping an awkward situation lol.

    But yeah, hothothothot :P

  • the gay guy looks like he has herpes on the left side of his mouth... smart straight guy!

  • The joke's on the idiot with the sunglasses and the company who thinks this kind advertisement can sell anything. Had it ended differently with both guys chatting and laughing at themselves and the situation, then maybe it would have been a fun advertisemnt for our times. Instead, it's about 40 years behind in both humour and relevancy.

  • @messengerpdx I think you are being far too sensitive. This ad has run for quite a long time, so if it were not effective, it would have been quickly pulled. Also, there is nothing offensive or rude about it. A woman talking on the phone to another man who was approached by a stranger in a pool who mistakenly thought she was asking him out would have the same reaction and be a bit put off. Moreover, there is nothing to suggest that the other man was not also gay and talking to another man.

  • @chatterbox11 I think you are being far too naive. A comparable situation would be putting a hot, young, bikini-clad woman in the place of the hot, young, gay man and then seeing how "put off" the guy with sunglasses would act. I guarantee you, the ad would hardly be "effective" if it showed the guy treating a sexy woman like she was some kind of troll. The pathetic humor of the ad is based upon the repulsion of a gay man showing friendly interest in another man, regardless of his sexuality.

  • @messengerpdx I know many women who do not like uninvited attention from a man, whether the man is good-looking or not. I also know many gay men who do not particularly care for uninvited advances from another man. My point is simply you should not cry wolf, unless you never wish to be taken seriously. A homophobic ad would have the man react violently, or use a gay slur, or run off in sheer terror. However, having the guy simply look perplexed and leave is not homophobic in the least.

  • @chatterbox11 well then...WOLF!!!

  • @Ohyawellfuku You aknowledge the homophobia of the ad...that's spot on.

  • That guy is so FUCKING HOT, (the one that is not wearing sunglasses) really I'd love to be in a jacuzzi with this guy

  • This is why I never talk to people wearing sunglasses. Eye Contact, ladys and gents.

  • I understand what people are saying but, please calm down. It ain't that deep.

  • lol awwwww

  • aw poor scared straight guy.... that gay guy was the SHIT

  • @zoics1 the guy with the glasses on was talking to his girlfriend on the phone (the ear thingg) and te guy next to him is GAY and thought the guy with the glasses was talking to him so he said "i'd love to" soo yeeah..im 12 and i get this so thats sad.

  • I didn't see anything gay about this except for the commmercial itself.

  • He might've excused himself to make the gay guy more comfortable so that they didn't need to share an awkward silence.

I know, that's probably not what the commercial implied, but it is reasonable.

  • lol omg poor guy XD

  • too bad it didn't work out! great ad!

  • awww poor guy...

  • 74 people are the woman on the other phone line

  • lol it woz funny, but i felt bad for the dude as well...one of those "i wish i cud sink into the ground moments"

  • hahaha.. arse!

  • stupidest concept for a commercial.

  • the gay guy is well hot! Too hot for the "straight" guy

  • these hard to see cell phones are indeed terrible as far as politeness is concerned.

  • That's just sad and depressing, not clever.

  • Wow, that gay guy was SO hot. How dare the guy on the phone run away all creeped out when he should have politely apologized from the misunderstanding and secretly feel flattered.

Wait, or was that ending supposed to be funny? The mistake was funny, but the ending was just stupid and homophobic.

  • @AnkokuEvangeline Agreed...just makes the sweet guy look like an idiot. The ending could have been alot better, if for example the man on the phone turned and said..."actually yes :)"

  • @AnkokuEvangeline Amen. ;)

  • @AnkokuEvangeline You know, i'm inclined to think a straight woman would react the same way to a man.

  • @pomponi0 Oh, I don't know about that. I certainly wouldn't react to anybody like that, male or female--I hate it when people are unnecessarily upset, especially because of me. However, my reaction to this was less "oh, how homophobic" or "oh, how funny", but more "and that kind of miscommunication is exactly the reason these glasses are a bad purchase." I'm really not sure why the advertisement focused on such a massive flaw--I can't be the only one here, right?

  • @MajikkaniHand Oh, you're right! I hadn't noticed that, haha

And uhmm... I'm bisexual but i know i would react the same way with either gender :D

  • @pomponi0 Hey, I won't begrudge you your reaction. ^^ It's certainly an awkward situation, but that's what you (would) get for wearing something that deliberately conceals your phone in the silliest way possible, other than novelty 'disguise' glasses. XD

  • @AnkokuEvangeline haha so well said xD and yes he WAS!

  • @AnkokuEvangeline It's just a joke, nothing to get sand in your snatch over.

  • @AnkokuEvangeline you are 100% right. the thing is, ....this type of ending is what makes most people laugh, str8 people of course!

  • awww poor dude :P

  • omg this is hilarious!! XD

  • LGBT or hetero, we're all the same! Love is love!

  • He guy on the phone should have been flattered, REALLY flattered.

  • @bloomsbury2k

Oh, I agree. Plenty straight guys who I've made passes to but have declined for obvious reasons took it as a major compliment. :D

  • @AceyBlade Exactly. It's when we stop hitting on them that they have to worry.

  • the wireless phone techonology is so damn annoying, this has happened to me too. though I'm not a guy

  • @enamorada1000veces, jealousy makes weak-minded people like you hate, we understand.

  • @enamorada1000veces dumbass dont you realize that gays guys mean more girls for straight guys

  • @MrDbz1992 ha ha, clever!

  • they both very hot guys ! x

  • Yeah the gay guy is very sexy and cute!!!!!!!! :DDD

  • do you know the name of the first guy hmmm he seems look familiar hehehe

  • hahaaaaa

  • Wouldn't have the fricking nerve to do anything like that, lol.I'd just end up with wrinkly skin, coz I'd have to wait until EVERYONE got outa the pool before slinking off to my room & banging my ditzy head off the wall, hahahahaha!

  • The gay guy was a cute, I wouldn't turn him down.

  • Oh hell yeah! How could he deny such a hot guy?

  • This what happens when people run around with tiny phone technology attached to their shades. I sad how the commercial tries to paint the gay guy as the one who sould be embarrassed when its the narcissist-guy who is so self-important he feels he needs to share his life with everyone. I bet he spends half his day tweeting too. If God meant for us to run around in public looking like a Borg, he would have designed us with data-ports...Just sayin!

  • @muslcop ,

Too damn right, lol.Totally agree! If you can't chill by the pool without being plugged into your technology then he despartely needs to reassess his life! The smug borg, lol.

  • He hoped the common and crushing loneliness of being a sexual minority and a thus smaller dating pool was going to end and then it was crushed in a scene of horrible social embarrassment... buy motorola?

  • awwwwwwwww. i'd take him up anyday!

  • FAIL! LOL

  • Take a look to this fantastic video:

    v=GafppzC2OfE

  • BUMMER!!!

  • The guy without the sunglasses is Marc Crumpton.......how do I know??....It's me!! ;-)

  • @IAmCrumpton GREAT job on this, man!!

  • @Scorpionfury thanx!

  • @IAmCrumpton Showoff!

  • @Jaime659 lol

  • @Jaime659 LOL!!

  • He didn't actually say NO. Maybe this was destiny. It's not likely you can get such a hot date if you try, and getting one by accident is one in a million!

Go for it, blue tooth dude!

  • people with bluetooths are ASSHOLES!!!!!

  • hahahhaa good shit hey THOTHKHONSO are you a flaming homo i could care less if you are.... Even if a straight guy said that to a girl thats still embarrissing shut up stop bitching ahahahha this is funny

  • hahahhaa good shit

  • Not only is this NOT funny, but it shows the true stereoyping of gay culture. I mean lets face it, the gay guy is the one more likely to be on his bluetooth in the spa pool....of course while wearing D&G NOT fucking Oakley....really why not show a commercial where there is not an obvious dislike towards gays

  • " ... can I call you back?" - "cause I'm happily busy right now" :)

  • does anyone else think the gay guy kind of looks like chris pine?

  • lol, he went down on him under the water..lol

  • Oops. I feel bad for the gay guy. I'd be so embarrassed if I was in his shoes... <xD

  • have dinner with you ! right feces on toast no doubt

  • @wewarnedyoufags lolol. feces on toast

  • WHAT is the name of this hoooottie!!!!! Not the glasses wearing guy, the other one!

  • @alexcal2 freddie fudgepacker

  • I'll take you to dinner, cutie pie.

  • Poor guy... I'll take him to dinner. X-]

  • jajaajajajaj.

  • No that guy is not gay no freaking way! He's to hottt.

  • @ewsithlord what are you saying, that a hot person cant be gay. he totally hot, i dont care if he's gay or straight.

  • @Theollie301 if you think fags are hot wait till you see them in hell

  • @wewarnedyoufags have you been there...?

stop cursing someone else heaven boy!

and stop being so jealous... ha ha ha...

  • @ewsithlord So gay men can't be hot?? What are you saying?

  • gay guy was cute. tell him to find me on facebook. lol

  • I would be so thrilled to have that guy interested in me, even if I was using a sunglasses phone! I would end the call and go off with him right away!

  • Awkward.... lol.

  • jajajajaja

  • That was funny! I hate it when that happens, tho! It's not as funny in real life.

  • Damn, dude without the glasses was hot... And seriously, how lazy can you get? A phone on your sunglasses...? Really? Lame! Next it'll be a retainer with wi-fi.

  • Fucking hands free ear phones.
