This is a pretty good cover. And like they said before, Black Tide is not trying to top Metallica, I guess they liked the song and adapted it to their own style. Personally I really like it.

Sounds more like power metal than thrash metal. Their technique is really slick and polished, and it doesn't have that raw, ratty feel of the original version. I give it an E for effort though.

Pretty good cover. Obviously it can't match Metallica's original but it does pay good tribute to a band that obviously influenced them. There are only 2 bands on the planet that can cover a song better than its original and they are Van Halen and Metallica ;).

Solid cover. I do believe that Metallica's version is much more better, but they did a great job. It's not as intense as Metallica's version though. But hey, these are kids around my age, I'm pretty sure that if they continue down this path they'll be successful. Solid cover, and they did a great job.
