  • Your prediction of 3 years is coming true at a scary pace...

  • YES!!!

THEY ARE TESTING SELF DRIVING CARS!!!

  • OMG you predicted the future!

  • @paulbeentjes je was me voor!

  • there's a car powered by google really powered by google, just less than a year after this video rofl.. well they where busy already.

look @ nytimes.com find the video called: Look Ma, No Hands

  • Nice prediction, but it seems that Google has a more ambitious view on 'cars powered by Google'. In the near future Google takes over the whole driving.

Check the article 'Google Cars Drive Themselves, in Traffic' on the New York times website!

  • Well, congratulations.

  • A Windows 7 Car FTW! No BSOD's!

  • I 'd drive a car powered by microsoft

  • Comment removed

  • Audi and Google have announced that the 2011 Audi A8 will have Google Earth built in. It should be on the road in late 2010, so its happening in under 3 years and that was a very good call.

  • i thought about this a while ago and wondered i also wondered if apple or google made its own digital camera and or camcorder

  • bing sucks

  • I agree, Microsoft just try to expand into too many markets at once to actually be good at all of them. imo Google is still uncontested as the best search engine

  • disturbing

  • i use bing

  • douche

  • @wiseye61,just because i use bing makes me a douche

  • Yes...

  • @wiseye61 ...hater...

  • @FrankieJames7 you're probably one of microsoft's monkeys... :P

  • @wiseye61 YOUR PROBABLY A FAGGOT WHO HAS NEVER SHOT A REAL GUN!

  • @FrankieJames7

say that to my face fucker not online and see what happens

  • @wiseye61 ill blast you in the face with a shotgun

  • Using Google Juice as fuel?

  • Driving in the Windy City???

  • vibrations from car

  • id drive an Apple Car!! 

  • Google... YES.

    Apple... YES

    Microsoft... LIGHTS OF DEATH

  • ford sync is pretty cool (M$)

  • I don't trust Google so hell no I would drive a Google car o_O

  • Googles one of about 3 companies i mildly trust xD

  • apple will never do it, not in the next 10 years, instead i would love it xD 

  • Microsoft OS in a car bad it not reliable anoth it would always be crashing

  • BSOD car XD

  • Yeah I would drive a Google Car or a car powered by Apple... Hell to the no... Not MICROSOFT!!!

  • if google came into cars they should add Wave or something similar =O!

Imagine if you're driving to your parents living 6 hours away from you and with your confirmation they could check how far you've come on the road and your exact location.

  • Chis won this car in a raffle.

  • Good idea, problem is, i'm 13 and I wouldn't be able to get one ;(

  • Having a Google car would be the only reason I would attempt to accomplish a driving lesson.

  • Nobody has to, its not our responsibility to make sure you are no longer lonely, or bored. But I will tell you this, the one thing that can save you from boredom is Farkle on Facebook.

  • technology wise SURE but im a car guy...you have to understand HOW MUCH physical hardware and engineering is needed from scratch.

Blue prints, cars frame, engine ....list goes on. google CAN do it... 3 years maybe too soon.

as is being like FORD w/ GOOGLE yeah that's more likely

or BMW powered by google SURE! why not

  • as google POWERING another manufacrtuers car is more duable, more realistic, more budget friendlier

then having Google to start a car company...i think its a joke

  • I know where else google aren't...

    The Bog.

    Maybe that's the next thing...

  • Haha, Google toilet paper ftw xD

  • I agree that this is a good idea in theory. But what about if you drive into a wireless blackspot? What if you drive across a country border? The roaming charges? Yes the tech is free from Google but the ISPs would charge the hell out of you!

  • Driving with hands in the 11 and 1 position ;-) LOL

  • Adds as long as they are non-intrusive.

    Google I second that motion.

  • he think about it

what if the apple or ms or google car suddenly crashes !!! :o

or some hacker infects your car with a virus !!! :o

  • It would be in beta for decades.

  • Apple is who I would trust in my car... I wouldn't wish Microsoft on

    My worst enimy...

  • Ya really I have sync in my car and that was developed by Microsoft and it alway gives me problems

  • it would be extremely expensive for about 10 years

  • could there steering wheel be any higher?

  • hahahhahha...im sure thats adjustable....seems like the car has a sunroof ...

  • A google car would be neat. But it would probably be made by Honda. And I would never own one of those.

  • Motorola Droid is awesome!!!

  • This was a cool video. Almost looked like a movie.

    Google Car < 3rs?

    I would agree

    maybe even autodrive.

tell the car where you want to go and it takes you there. NO Driving

  • Like the top of the range BMW or Mercades well in the UK tht is

  • Hmmm.... a car powered by google or a car powered by belches? lol.

  • ya so microsoft has a application only in ford, lincon, and murcury cars called microsoft sync it let`s your play your mp3 player i pod navigational call people ect... check it out its prety good :)

  • I don't use the Google website.

  • xFenGz - I got news for you chief... you're using Google right now.

    Understanding Fail.

    - Jon

  • LOL owned

    liking the microwave show BTW

  • well youtube is owned by google so if you search a video your using google

  • I swear I was SO Close to turning of the video at the start when you start burping like a freak.

  • I've got google in my car right now - Iphone lol but it would be nice to have a built in option! 3 years eh - i'd better get saving for my G-Car

  • Chris! What's with the start of the video, Man, look, It's not funny,

But, Google is not only in the car or on the web, it's going to have it's own OS soon..

  • I think "Google Earth" would be a wicked application to have built into a car.

  • i would prefer a car powered by a motor

  • @iglofiscj LOL make sure you get the microsoft warrenty if you happen to get the ring O' Death on your microsoft powerd car, or you turn the key and your vehicle fails to boot

  • From the thumbnail of this video Chris looks like Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords.

  • you DO realize that, with your hands on the wheel like that, you WILL lose your thumbs and break many many bones in your arms and face from the airbag, right?

  • the airbag will break his neck anyway because of how short and close he is.

  • BING SUCKS

  • fuck bing

  • bing FTW

  • how about a bing car?!!!

  • lmaoooo!!!

  • I don't know, cars are about the drive, not how you get there. But that's just the car guy in me talking. I heard you say that you don't like to go fast anyway, MUHAHAhahahaha!

  • I wouldn't drive a car by windows, it would keep 'crashing' and i might get the 'Blue Windscreen of death'

An Apple car would look good!

A Google car would go very fast!

  • an apple powered car? can u imagine that? a stylish white car with one pedal to push?

  • @9AndS no pedals it would be touch control and it would be aluminium and black

  • an apple powered car would rot quite quickly, methinks....

  • powered by google, definately.

  • stop burpingggggggggggg

  • I love that idea! I want that to happen. Actually, I'm 14 now and I want to move to the USA when I am old enough to. If they do make a Google powered car, I will move to America as soon as I can. Thats my deal to myself!

  • Personally I would never pay for factory navigation system! I have used multiple factory navigation systems and none of them are as good as my Garmin which I bought in 2006. Sure my garmin doesn't have live traffic updates and weather like the newer ones but I have no issue turning on my radio to listen to the am traffic station or to switch to traffic and weather channel on my Sirius Stilletto

  • Google is taking over the world. I might drive a Google powered car. But an Apple powered car? Oh YES! I would be Certain it wouldn't break down or give me an problems.

  • It'd have a completely touch-screen interface, cost £1,000,000 ($1,700,000), you'd have to remove to fuel tank completely to get more petrol, and for repairs you'd have to send it off to Apple for a few weeks instead a generic car garage...

  • cool, what car does he have ?

  • @bostonianhommie prius

  • could have guessed it. its the perfect nerd car for him !

  • I thought google had already started designing an auto driving car called the autonomobile I think I saw it on an episode of Top Gear

  • 30 seconds of burps

  • google maps is awesome, if a car would use that while driving to navigate you it would be beyond awesome, so yea

    I agree

  • And adding to that, in crash, I wouldn't like mu car to turn blue. And then black.

  • lol "I think and drive."

  • I would like to see a car with Google features.

  • i like cookies!

  • Maybe Imay's cooking is not so good.

  • FIAT powered by Microsoft

    Volkswagen UP powered by Apple

    ??? powered by Google

  • youre GROSS!

    thats so disgusting.

  • you a girl?

  • Yet another way to distract the driver's attention. More electronics in the car = more demand on the battery.

  • Google fuel.

  • You don't own Google. Google owns YOU!

  • HOW DO I GET ANDROID 2.O PLZZZZ

  • easy buy a google 2.0 phone android is not upgradable

  • the g1 is not but magic and hero is right?

  • u cant upgrade a 1.0 phone to a 2.0

  • 1,5?

  • nope no way to upgrade major versions of google android and besides the hard ware in the old android devices will probably mean no turn by turn and such cool features

  • Who needs a car engine, when you can have your car powered by a Search Engine? :))

  • you got the gayest comment on youtube

  • Maybe the lamest joke out there but... please explain yourself. Hopefully you have some argument, don't you?

  • Google beer will be for free.

Google will attach ads on beer bottles and beer will be cost free.

  • in 5 years google will bild there oven cars >.>

  • hmm... google = free... apple = intelligent spam

  • lol google is the great beast

  • thats a long bridge

  • GoogleMaps is phail. It got me lost in Jacksonville 2 weeks ago. Coming to you through my Youtube channel.

  • you have become completely and utterly ridiculous.

You don't have any performer's talent whatsoever and you think you are funny. In any case, your videos are not informative any more. *unsubscribe* aaaaaaalll the way

  • wait so you want a car powered by peoples searches????????

  • Google is everywhere, but one place Google is not is on the Internet.

  • ha ha LOL :D

  • iphone fan boy pirillo, drooling over google? *gasp*

  • google sux y'all!

  • NO it doesn't. you suck dick head !

  • I all ready want it, now

  • fuck google.....dont give them more power...

  • I prefer bing. thats just me.

  • @paulith101 i tried it, it's very lame. lol

  • I like the way bing does the video and images but not text based searches.

  • Microsoft Car, ummm, wouldn't like to see what the Blue Screen of Death would do

  • You do know that BSODs are only caused by hardware errors or poorly written drivers? Both are things that Microsoft do not create nor do they have much control over. If you want to say that there would be a BSOD, then if it was run by apple there would be kernel panics. Microsoft controls the hardware and drivers so they will make sure that the software works with the hardware.

  • Nah, I only need my brain, and an atlas in my car.

  • There already is a google car in design/research, it's going to be a very abnormal car, autodriving is even in the question. I saw it on AOTS maybe, or maybe read it in wired or something, but it won't come out for about 10 years, and won't be shown for about 4 or 5

  • In your home?

  • i like these videos but i hate the beginning

  • apple. google doesn't car about consumer, microsoft has many bugs, apple makes great products and support

  • how fucking nasty

  • wat u dont like bodily functions?

  • yes ads would be ok but what types of ads? if the ads get too annoying then it would be better to just have the regular car navs.

  • I love my Garmin. It tells me if traffic is building up ahead of me and gives me alternative routes to take. Google does not. So I think google still has along way to go to met those other options that google does not provide.

  • it all depends on how intrusive the ads are.

  • @ixceix Lol, yeah. Your car would hear your stomach growling and suggest nearby restaurants.

  • ok...so what if my car got a virus....

  • lol, no even better, Microsoft car + BSOD for plugging in a iPod, or usign a Cd burnt by a mac

  • I hate ads with a passion, it's bad enough we have billboards, but ads inside the car as well? Forget it...

  • thinking and driving is illegal in mexico.

  • @Tariqghrayyib Friends don't let friends drive thunk. ;)

  • lol

  • I see one huge problem: I would for definitely welcome Google into vehicle navigation, but all of Google's apps and services are based on the Internet - and therefor a connection to the internet. What happens if you get out of reach = no navigation. If Google can make a map feature you can download into the navigation system of the car, like the existing sat nav systems - then no problem. Google may not be perfect, but at the price of nothing plus a little advertising, I'm game.

  • Chris, people installed mac mini's into their car (search YouTube for details) and use it for web browsing using mobile broadband.

  • (The following comment is just joking, not serious. It is just joking, I don't disagree that Google with have to do with SOME car company) I could see myself calling HP tech support because I forgot my password. I could see myself calling some McAfee help line because I got a virus. I could see myself waiting in line at the Apple Genius Garage. What about Best Buy Geek Squad Garage? I could see everybody driving their new notebook car. Downloading Avast! free insurance. Dangerous thoughts.

  • If there were to be a Google car, it would have awful MPG. If it was electric powered like a Smart Car, it would need to be recharged after very short distances. Even if the engine ran on gasoline it would need to be recharged. Ever run out of battery on a laptop? Same thing. An internet based car would have 1 MAJOR problem, MALICIOUS SOFTWARE. Imaged if Geico or Allstate came with a free McAfee car security suite? I predict if they made a car, it would not be internet based. Think about it.

  • If it was powered by microsoft....... My car would probably get the Red Rings of DEATH!

  • lolz! :)

  • I've also thought about it, and dearly want it. Imagine a nice little Android Build, finely tuned for your car, that'l manage all your devices and integrates flawlessly?

It'll be the car Microsoft Sync was MEANT to be xD.

  • I don't think the extras that are put in cars are any costs to the car company now, do you think sat. radio charges them to be included in the new car?

  • If you're ridin' in Microsoft you can only go 20mph during the updates.

  • AAPL

  • was the first part necessary ?

  • Yes I would if it was Google. Not so much Apple or Microsoft.

  • I would drive a car by Apple for sure. Apple makes the most thin things ever yet that works perfectly XD

  • ur funny thats so not true

  • You must be either a fanboy or someone who's never used a Newton or a Lisa. Apple is far from perfection.

  • ya but you would need a new car every year cause thts how fast they come out with the next model of there products and the car would be like a prius but priced like a ferrari

  • I think (for free navigation) that ads would be a reasonable option. As long as they are not distracting to the driver of the car.
