Dude, please help, I only have 'Microphone', 'Rear MIC' and 'Line In' in my Recording properties, not 'Sterio mix'. Do I need to hook up a microphone into the computer to get this 'Sterio mix' option or what?

@moderator13 In you task bar on the right bottom find the speaker icon. Right click on it and select play back devices. You will find all the options there.
If you are using Windows 7 then you will see the Sound dialogbox poping up when you select playback devices. In that playback devices dialog box just right click and see if "Show Disabled Devices" is selected. Only then will you get all the devices option.

@Dogjy101 When you record and save your file, Windows gives you option to save the sound you recorded as .wav, .mp3 etc. See what sound format your animation supports and you can save your sound in that format.
In the above video what you saw was recording without the mic. You select the Stereo mix or any other input except the mic (if you do not have a mic) and what ever sound is playing in your pc from your media player or your games etc gets recorded.
