It's our way of classifying others and differentiating ourselves from everyone else. It may be a judgmental way of doing it, but it's still a way of separating ourselves.

There always seems to be a very strong, solid divide between the people that are racist and the people that believe it is dead wrong. The people that (rightly) believe that it is dead wrong need to stand up more forcefully and say "No more!" Everyone has the right to be treated as equally and fairly as everyone else. It is the differences in colour, language, nationality, eating habits or musical tastes that make the human race so diverse and interesting. If we were all the same, we'd get bored.

People are going to find reasons to dislike each other, always, for whatever reason. It doesn't have to be anything legitimate, either.
I do KNOW, however, that in some places, especially among kids, people are already completely ignoring such differences. If kids are taught early to care and love everyone (no matter how they look, what they wear, etc), maybe things will change even further in the future.

I completely agree with robyn2288. How could people be more interested in the actual ramen?
People are going to find reasons to dislike each other, always, for whatever reason. It doesn't have to be anything legitimate, either.
I do KNOW, however, that in some places, especially among kids, people are already completely ignoring such differences. If kids are taught early to care and love everyone (no matter how they look, what they wear, etc), maybe things will change even further in the future.

I agree about what you said. About racism and general discrimination. I have had 3 different hair colours. Brown, Blonde and now currently Light Auburn. I got put down for being blonde, being called stupid. It made me feel terrible, so I went back to brown, but it ended going Auburn and I got put down for that.
Hope the Ramen doesn't make you sick!

It's amazing to me how people are commenting more on the noodles and not the actual issue. It saddens me that people would go to such great lengths to get rid of someone simply because of their skin color. I cannot tell you how moronic that is. No one chooses what race they are, we can only control how we treat other people in the skin that we're in. Love people FOR their differences--Dont hate them because of it.

firstly, i don't believe in race. i believe in different skin colours.
i believe that all human beings, and i mean ALL, have a need to create some sort of 'other' in order to see themselves in relation to the world. all people have a need to define themselves, and in order to define one self one needs contrast/compare to someone/thing else.
unfortunately this often leads to hate towards another group of people.

I think an interesting punishment for Stefan would be to make him speak monotone for his entire next video.

Is it sad that when I saw the pictures of those guys that I wasn't the least bit shocked? I think many people knew that the first ones to try anything would be redneck assholes. *rolls eyes* I say that because I lived around stuff like that for 11 years and am not surprised by their comments. Parts of the south never grew beyond 1950.

That was such an amazing video! I am blown away! And no, I don't think we will ever live in a prejudice free society. I think even if people come to terms with a black man being President of the United States, they will find another reason to hate him, or anyone else for that matter. But hey I suppose it's all 'freedom of speech', man was that a mistake in the constitution!
