Don't forget that that man has not the 'easy life' as it looks like. He has to be at the head of his train all the time for safety reasons, so he walks a lot. Especially in winter time it is no joy. Furthermore that work is very responsible and dangerous. For example I know a case where the man lost his lower leg because he accidently let his train run over it, because he trippled before his own train...
