My hair is starting to come back after six months of chemo. I liked wearing wigs before. So, people really could not tell the difference. But, I did not realize how much I would miss my hair. It gets a little thicker every week, so I am hopeful that before I know it, I will have a nice head of hair. Loved your video, it is very encouraging.!

Yes! After four years I've still kept my hair short, even though it was way long to begin with. My stylist and I call it Edgy.

I have watched this video so many times since I was diagnosed last August and lost my hair a few weeks later. Mine is now like your was at 2mins 10 secs! It has grown back really dark and is starting curl. Just love having it back - along with my lashes and brows.
Thanks for the video - and best wishes to all those out there who have or are going through the same. x

It's in YOUR hands. The cure for cancer has been known and suppressed for decades. The Cure for Cancer is NOT consuming the poisons that CAUSE cancer, and, instead, cleansing the colon, and consuming a liberal amount of freshly juiced raw organic fruits and vegetables. watch?v=E0CzvhPU5q4 Google Dr. Richard Schulze
Thank you for your video. I start my treatment in a few days and was only diagnosed a month ago. So the hair thing is pretty hard for me to swallow- i am supposed to loose it on my birthday and my hair is really long. God bless -you are beautiful.
Every morning I would kid around with my children and ask them if my hair grew at all overnight! Your color and texture looked similar to mine. I wasnt thrilled about my gray so I colored it and it looks great.
Good luck to you and thanks so much for your video. P.S I had to laugh because when i first started your video I thought something was wrong with my volume......lol :)Laurie
I finished my chemo in the middle of September and I started to get stubble on Sept. 28, 2009. I wish I videotaped my growth like you did. You video reminded me so much of how my hair grew back.....even how you were touching your hair and really taking a good look at yourself and smiling.
I finished chemo about a month ago, and am just waiting for the hair to grow. I have to tell you that your vide gave me such hope during the low days, and is still giving me hope. Thank you so much.
thanx i just did abvd treatment for lymphoma and i always feel like my hair isnt growing back quick enough. but now i see that it will it just takes a while
yes! It does come back. I thought it never would. Now there's too much of it! I decided I liked it short (it was very long when I lost it) and keep cutting it back.

How long was it from start to finish? You have a gorgeous smile xo thanks for the video...I stopped chemo three weeks ago...cannot wait for hair I lost all of it
I finished chemo June 4 and my hair is finally coming back. I keep playing your video for inspiration! Thanks for taking the time and having the courage to do this!
My hair started coming out in handfuls this week as I took my second chemo for Hodgkin's. Prolly going to have to shave this week. This video is inspiring! And, you look beautiful! Thanks for posting!
Good luck! I hope you enjoy the freedom from hair! I still had some hair for a long time and didn't shave it (the comb-over look). It wasn't until I could see new hair coming in (almost a month after stopping chemo) that I finally shaved it. Very liberating! Thanks for you comment!
Thanks, again. I showed this to my mama today. She is a hair dresser for nearly 50 years. Only today did I ask her and realize that she has NEVER shaved a head for chemo - or any reason - before. I will be her first. She has had clients that lost a lot, but still kept some. At the rate I am going, I may not last the week with any left. She is my rock, and this is a tough thing for both of us gussied up where ever we go gals! And, southern women and their hair . . . . LAWD! Both inspired
WOW that was incredible!!! Was this a week by week progression?? I'm 2 weeks post chemo and finally getting some eyelashes. :) I think I should take pics like that too. :)

You are beautiful! I'm also a breast cancer survivor and have completed chemo at the end of August. Your video reminds me that there is life after cancer. The excitement I feel about hair regrowth is a sign of healing. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video.
