Kate Brown on paying Bar tab with campaign cash

In 2007, Brown let a bill die in the Senate Rules Committee. It banned campaign funds for personal use. If she'd let that pass, her bar dues payment would have been illegal in retrospect. It was one of many Campaign Finance Reform Bills she killed over the years. Special interests gave Kate 600 K so far to run. That's a lot of payback, maybe too much baggage for somebody looking to be in charge of fair elections and the auditor's office....
