Two day's till I go see them, and I got pit tickets, it's going to be bad ass! Lol, I see alot of arguing going on about the two main bands, Coheed & Slipknot. I'll say this, Im mainly going for Coheed, dont get me wrong, Slipknot is cool, but I hate how alot of Slipknot fans try to embody this "hardcore" persona during the concert theyll start random shit, fighting and all that, with people just getting hurt. I want to go and enjoy the music not end up in the ER cause i got mauled in the pit

Agreed! It's annoying coming home from a show with bruises. Though I do have to say, my first Coheed show, I got elbowed in the face pretty effin hard. It left this golf ball-sized bruise around my eye... But I'm SURE if I would've been in the pit at for this latest tour I'd be complaining about more than a black eye.

Coheed's music is so much better than that garbage Slipknot puts out. There's just no way Slipknot fans could ever appreciate good music; they're too busy polluting their ears with shit. I respect Claudio's decision to tour with different bands, but I feel like he's under-cutting himself by touring with bands that don't have even half the talent he and Coheed do. In fact, Coheed have more talent in their fingernails than Slipknot does in its whole band, crew, and management.

Coheed fan here, and honestly I don't blame the Slipknot fans for not appreciating the performance -- You can't really classify the two bands together. Sure they're both rock, but the genres and styles are so different.

I wasn't a big fan of Slipknot when I went to this show, but I've got to admit, they're insane live. I'd definitely choose Coheed over Slipknot any day. Let's not all say Slipknot is garbage because you'd be offended if someone said Coheed was shitty. To each his own, right?

i was at the show in st paul and they were not recieved well....or really at all....everyone just stood there like no one was on stage at all...there were a few "you suck!" outbursts as well

It is kind of sad. I'm going March 5th in Glendale, and I'm excited to see Coheed, not so much Slipknot. I am getting a seat ticket instead of a General Admissions one so I don't have to deal with the angry Slipknot fans. I wish they would open their minds a little.
