I could see doing this with a nice puff pastry dough as well. Major plus points for the acacia wood cutting board too (or maybe olive)?

@trevorpinnocky Good idea! You could even twist the pastry into sticks and turn those into "dippers". :) And thank you--it was worth every penny.
