As a Christian, I am opposed to war in general and especially this war, which I feel was unnecessary. However, now that we're in we have a responsibility to the Iraqi people to finish what we started. Thankfully, the surge seems to be working and things seem to be moving in the right direction.

As an American, I take responsibility for who we voted for, but I never personally voted for him. I would have voted for anyone but Bush. I was surprised by my fellow Americans that they would re-elect him. Hell, I was even dissappointed by those who said they voted for him on his religious platform. Second, we did not defend the EU's borders for free. We rent the bases that our troops are stationed on in Europe for the bargain basement price of $160 billion; but that was back in the early '90s. I dont know what it is now.
