It has the worst schools in the country. There is a town called Corby which is full of toxic waste, so, if you have any unborn children, don't go there. It has the laziest, slap-happiest and rudest local authority staff in the country. Give it a miss.

of course im gunna defend where i live.... compared to a lot of places northants is a good place to live, i aint saying its the best but let me guess where u live is??

drab factory towns full of empty red-brick factories, the ghosts of the shoe industry. The once-beautiful countryside slowly being eaten up by hideous industrial parks (massive Burtons, massive Toys R Us, massive Waitrose), and vast soulless estates of identical box housing (complete with instant chav society). A personal favourite, the need for endless min-roundabouts with advertising on each one, so kindly provided by the company to which the newly-built roundabout leads. The worst county.
