I am Australian and have purchased 10 houses in the last 6 months... the opportunities are amazing there right now. He is very correct when he says "when people are screaming sell, you buy" I have been buying for approx. $35,000 per house with rents of about $575 per month... great passive income. It is not as complicated as one might think, you dont need an investment visa as long as you are structured correctly, i am an Accountant so i know.

@nishkov not necessarily... if you form a LLC for example you can apply for financing with the LLC tax id #... you do not need to be a US citizen to form a LLC.

Its hard to buy a property in USA for people living in other countries. Investment visa must be applied to buy a property in USA from Australia.
