  • some of the best lryics ever

  • U.K.'s Marvin Gaye. I can't believe he's gone and I just heard of him today. What are they doing to us in the U.S.? Who do we blame this lack of exposure on? Maybe it's my own fault. I'm embarrassed.

  • @hawkinstaveus

I could not agree more. He's definately got that smooth Marvin Gaye sound. That's why You Tube is so important because we get to see videos or hear songs that aren't on corporate radio.

  • Would you have all the lyrics to this song? I have searched & searched, can't find them :( Thanks if you do :)

  • I used to see Lynden perform every December at the Jazz Cafe

Such a warm, friendly, unassuming man, totally grounded and unaffected by fame.

Always made the time for a chat after his performances.

You’re so badly missed – but I‘m sure you’re still making music wherever you are!

  • god life is unfair what more do i need to say r.i.p

  • oh my goodness, I never knew dat LDH died am actually in shock. Just findin out tnite. I thought maybe he was stayin outta da spotlight r sumtin. Dats really sad he was so talented n deadly on da guitar. Only now hes playin it in heaven xxx

  • song is so soothing....

  • R.I.P DAVID LYNDEN HALL , U could have been the greatest RnB artist but God knows best

  • im so sad when i think about the dead of lynden. he is so wonderful. hes good like d'angelo

    r.i.p its so unbelievbable

  • one of my favorite singers there has ever been! Such a shame he passed away...

  • U have insanely good taste in music my friend... just checked out ur profile...

    biggups to that

    gotta miss LyndenDHall

  • Well thanks my friend. Considering i'm at least double your age. LOL Not bad for an old fart. LOL. This is a result of living and exchanging music with friends. Thanks again!

  • I was first introduced to his music back in 2000 through an ex-girlfriend from London. I was shocked and saddened by his passing. He would have been big here in the U.S. if he was promoted properly like Loose Ends, Billy Ocean and Five Star decades prior.

RIP to both him and Lamya.

  • I agree with you memyself2k. However record companies aren't really pushing real music these days. Everything is straight out of a computer. It's all about the profit. I actually bought Lynden David Halls first CD on a whim. I paid import prices and thank God he didn't disappoint. I had never heard of him. UK artist are more into the art and not the profit or the fame.

  • I agree because here in America it is about capitalism and less about authenticity.

  • beautiful

  • Yeah I like beautiful music! This man is so underrated! Gone way too soon! This song was dedicated to his wife before he passed away. Lyrically sweet!

  • day off is a song that i really love. honestly he is still an underestimated artist he deserves to be much more famous his songs are so touching.. Do Angels Cry, Medicine For My Pain...He was THE Man. RIP

  • I agree with everything you said. I love his music.

  • I'm not a regretful person but I really hate the fact I never got to see Lynden live.

My dad's a journalist and I remember begging to take the day off school so I could meet LDH when my dad interviewed him.

One of a kind. I miss my favourite singer.

  • Brilliant artist RIP.

  • i could not agree more

  • someone has tabs or chords from his music ? i search in all internet and didnt find any... his tunes is awesome but nobody know how to played =(, would be nice to know his musics this help for the people get know him

  • lynden had such a perfect way of putting things this song is the perfect example

the words fit everyday love it

such an amazing guy thanks for the music

  • You're so welcome. I loved his music. It's a shame he left us so soon. I could tell he had so much potential. Lets enjoy what he left us!

  • LDH has some much family that 's been omitted in his credits. His mom is such an anchor. Much about LDH is understated. Maybe someone will take the time and effort to tell his true story. GOD, I miss him. -- Stateside and Caribbean Crew(wcg)

  • Well I'm interested in knowing all about him. So why can't you be the one to inform us. I love his music. I'm sure there's so much more to him as you stated. We don't get much information about British artist here in the States. So I'm all ears. Thanks for your comments!

  • wonderful

  • thank you

  • Why is it that someone with some much to give us, is taken away too early. At least he gave us such unforgettable passion and soul in his music to remember him by. R.I.P to a true SOULMAN !!

  • i could not agree more... i think god takes the best for himself. there's a party in heaven y'all!!

  • I remember flickin through the music channels and seeing this and goin crazy cuz i didnt know he was back...i played this track non-stop! You can tell he wasnt well in the video but he soldiered on...true legend.
