Nice horse, nice video but had to stop the music; didn't suit the video and was terrible for my ears, but everybody has different taste.

were you trying to achieve 'join-up' here? if so body languge needs some ajusting otherwise would have worked well, handler missed key signals 3 times.

Thanks for the feed back. I am the handler in the video. I realize the mistakes I made when I first started doing this. If you read the video description, you would have seen that this was only our third time doing this. Both the horse and I have come a long way since this. My entire account is a video log of this horse's training. I think anyone would be amiss if she/he said that she/he never made any mistakes when training a horse. Fortunately, they are forgiving creatures. :)

Very talented young horse. He should be something else when he is all grown up. Are you planning on leaving him a stud?

Thanks for your kind words! Currently I am planning on leaving him a stud. The only thing that would change that would be if his second testicle decides not to drop. The vet checked him out and said it's there and close to dropping, but it wasn't out when I last had him checked in April. Hopefully the little bugger pops out so he can keep both of them! ;)

If it doesn't, I plan on having him "milked" before gelding just incase he turns out to be the next Shutterfly ;) --who was gelded for the same reason. I'd hate to do it, but if untreated, and retained testicle can cause cancer and a whole world of problems.

Yeah, I definitely was perched in a most interesting fashion on top of the round pen. It's actual pen designed for holding bulls, so it can handle me dangling over a horse. :) Ozzy was really cool about it, too, and basically ignored me up there.
