Problem with the average person is that they aren't musicians and can't recognize true musical talen when they see it. Well, I am a musician and even though this isn't my preference of music I can recognize that Butterscotch has ALOT of talent. Probably more than the "artists" that are in your cd library.

I was hooked on the 2007 season of AGT. It's really the only season that I agreed with the finals ... Butterscotch was and still is my favorite, but Terry Fator, and Cas Haley were great too. The talent that made the top 5 or even 10 was GREAT! Now with the last couple seasons .. I don't understand how the last couple people won. '08 and '09. especially '09 where Kevin Skinner won ... he can't even sing! Has AGT become a popularity contest now?

This girl is a top talent. We watched this show here in the UK and were truly gobsmacked that she didn't win. Americans who voted for the ventriloquist that went on to win should have been taken outside and beaten with their TV remote controls. A travesty.

I think that the point is she's not only talented - there are many talented people, but only few of them are able to use the thing they were gifted - and that girl is most of all SMART - she can make useful every little part of her talent and that's why she is so special. She doesn't only copy, she creates and it is very original and stunning.

There are many very brilliant singers. But this woman combines class, a beautiful/original voice, heart, creativity, and has at least 4 levels of vocal actions occurring AT ONCE. She listened to the judge's criticism every time and altered herself to what would work within the confines of her own comfort. Butterscotch is a true artist in a world of manufactured false talent. I hope she goes far.
