I tried it and it works...both technically and musically. If I slide the fourth all the way to the G, it sounds weird. By stopping short, as you recommended, the glissando blends in better.
I am using Noad's book...I have both volumes...great books
I am working on this piece right now. Thank you for posting this video. The gliss from b to g was confusing for me, since the fingers change from 4th finger to second. Is that what you do as well? It seems you switched the fingers at the last minute. Great piece and nice playing!
Thanks for the compliment. I do switch fingers on that glissando. I slide my fourth finger until approximately the 5th fret, grab the g with my 2nd finger and then pull off to the open string in the next measure. I really enjoy playing this piece. Good luck with it. Are you working from Frederick Noad's book?
im 13. just started playing this, its got some tricky parts.

Good work! Though I generally dislike changes to the music your choice t repeat the first part worked quite well.

The alternating time signature makes for an interesting piece of music. It is very soothing but also keeps you on your toes. Nice Job.

I'm glad I helped. I was originally confused by the fingering of that passage too. Good luck working on it.
Those two books have a great selection of music. It feels like years ago that I played that first Spanish Study. Oh yeah, it actually was years ago.
