  • Being a nice person - Opening the door to a feminist and taking her bullshit and not saying anything in return.

A good person - Working at a local homeless shelter, helping with Toys for Tots or Angel Tree Foundation, giving blood (if you're a gay man and can't give blood the thought is still there), and other assorted things.

I see nice as the things that society deams fit for us to do. Pleasantries that we should abide by. Being good, however, is the feeling after doing something awesome

  • @TheFergme agreed and agreed.

  • Wes. Am I a good person, or a nice person? lol, I'm kidding, don't answer that. I believe yours views are spot on, but sometimes you should not think of the word as it's defined. Not everyone follows definitions to the T. You think too much into it when the answer should be simple :P

  • @amarandeamaris i see words more as subjective jelly than concrete concepts, they're more contextual than most everything else in our lives.

  • Good - Completely undefined and arbitrary.

Kind - Clearly defined and not arbitrary.

  • @Dyscivist i don't know, kindness seems to me to be arbitrarily determined.

  • hmm this made me think XD

  • @elmosfrikenworld123 that's what i'm here for.

  • @WSLaFleur lol

  • I agree with the differences between the "nice" and "good" terms but I would rather just go with the flow.
